Good morning everyone
Thanks for the start DNMS - pleased that you managed to catch up with your DD yesterday.
Bob - hope your day is busy money wise but not so busy that you're rushed off your feet.
Twiggy - enjoy circuits, you have motivated me to add exercise to my list today. But legomum - you haven't managed to get me to add cleaning the fridge to my list :rotfl: I hate that job.
Best of luck for tomorrow Ally - and please don't stop with all of the helpful posts and links. You've shown me so much since I started posting here.
I've been awake on and off since four ish, when a couple of our cats decided it was play time indoors - so I got up to put them both outside then spent time dozing off on the sofa until about half seven. DS seems to be in a bit of a better mood today so I've let him go to play football with his dad this morning.
Bit of a busy, but hopefully fun weekend ahead - and I've already made a start.washing done and dried on line (load 2 in at the moment)
check banking - done but no PAD.
DS to football
gym class for the kids, which has been cancelled as I'm typing this
all meals from stores
take DD to cinema for her birthday (tickets already booked and paid for)
I've decided to have a weekend off from housework other than the bare essentials
Get DH to mow the lawn (I love having a garden but I really hate gardening)
Do some exercise
Sort through Christmas shopping lists
meal plan and batch cook for next week
Think that is it for the moment.
Hello to anyone that has posted in the mammoth amount of time that it's taken me to finally finish writing this post...:o:o
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

how have you got on with the oil heating?
Currently oil is a lot cheaper than it was a couple of years ago. Our spend on heating varies so much depending on the weather and the price goes up and down far more than gas. When we first moved here we got onto a payment plan with a local supplier where we paid a set amount a month and they topped our tank up as we needed it. We then found that prices vary a lot from supplier to supplier and we were stuck with this one company. I wouldnt do this again.
It pays to shop around every time you buy oil - and haggle a bit! Our tank holds 1100 litres and most companies have a minimum delivery of 500 litres. Prices are showing at about 38p a litre at the moment which is very good.0 -

Thank you
We were told about paying monthly but don't want to be stuck paying a high price!!
There's no outside access to the tank so we will have to bring canasters through the house (if that makes sense) I was told that a man down the road sells it cheap and does a loyalty card scheme (the more you buy the more you get off sort of thing) and that way we don't have to fill it up so much.Read my diaryHere0 -

Afternoon all
I was up early and worked for 4 hours non stop this morning (carting heavy boxes around, not office based / bossing about work like I used to do :rotfl:) and been to Sainsburys to do a shop this afternoon, so I am about ready for bed again now!
Glad to hear that you caught up with your DD and she is ok DNMS
Bob, hope you are having a good day
Ally, best of luck for tomorrow
Small list today due to work / shopping!
Used hot washing up water (still clean, only a couple of bits needed doing) to wash the kitchen floor
Washing dried on line
Finished up a small quantity of leftovers for my lunch
HM meals
Sorted out heating controller as it was coming on at strange times  (though only in the bathroom and airing cupboard, it is turned off everywhere else). I do hate our heating controller - it is way too complicated!
Oh dear, that is a small list isn't it
Hope everyone is having a good day0 -

Most of the trade was in the morning so the afternoon felt a bit of a drag. But I am grateful for the cash to pay the other half of my energy bill, so that is now done. Horray!
Dawn - You know what they say, its not the length that countsoh dear, lowering the tone, I will go and get in the bath

Didn't do to well with my list today!
We didn't go to the park, me & ds2 took our bikes to the prom by the beach and ds1, dh & my parents played boule on the beach. Followed by lunch thanks to my dad, he made us a easy curry & rice, it was lovely. Picked up a couple of bits from co0p, nothing ys that we wanted but did use a 50p off £4 shop voucher.
Dinner tonight was out of the freezer as its close to bursting!
Entertainment tonight has been Danger Mouse (on Netflicks, thanks bob) now dh and I are watching House of Cards.
Not much planned for tomorrow other than ds'2's swimming lesson, will have to see what the weather does I think x
Ally, I hope that tomorrow goes well for you0 -
DNMS Thank you for getting us started. I'm pleased to hear you have managed to get in touch with your dd.
We have had a lovely day celebrating friends birthdays at a joint celebration, the weather was good and we all had a good time, we were out from midday until after 7 pm. Before we went we prepared dinner so we were able to put it on the table within 15 minutes of getting home and before the children went to bed we watched the latest Dr WhoFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases
