If you miss this one, EnergyHelpline will have one available next month :)

    https://www.greatbritishcollective.com/

You can register your interest now (but if it's anything like the last one they offered, you should be able to compare prices once it's gone live without registering)

I wonder how it will compare to the current MSE/CEC offering?

Have done that. The MSE Switch offer, for me, is the same as Robin Hood Energy's prices. As my normal meter will be installed on the 21st Sept, I will wait until the Energyhelpline collective prices are revealed before deciding.

I had to wait until today to switch but server has crashed 2x when I submitted my details and now I can't even get to the first page.
  • I've tried submit my details several times but the server keeps crashing and I'm asked to try again later.
Now I've received an email from MSE saying my application 'is in process'.
Is it or isn't it? I'm not sure and what happens after 10 days or so and I find my application hasn't been processed?
  • Hi, about 3/4 weeks ago I started a switch to another company, this still hasn't happened but is in the process of - should be another couple of weeks at least I think. Because if this does it mean I can't take advantage of this deal??
  • Trying to switch, got it all set up. Then got a letter from present provider saying I would be charged exit fees, ended 30th Sept. Rang eon who couldn't change date of switch and advised cancel and start again through MSE. Now can't register as saying switch in progress on cheap energy club site. Emails to help line not sending. Have I missed out?

What is the date your current fix ends? If it is 30th September then the warning was an unenforceable computer error and any automatic charges levied would have been refunded (eventually.) You should have just continued with the application rather than cancelling it.

Don't know the details of the pricing of the tariff but there should be others available through normal switching (ie, not through CEC) within a tenner or two of it.

  • Hi
I'm trying to do the switch but the site is down and I am already on EON so I can't get my MPAN and it won't let me finish the application without it - anyone got any ideas?
