No flying today as i did it all yesterday. I did fly in someone elses house. Hubby bought a new to him car tonight. No more early or late station runs. I managed to get to SW. Unsurprisingly im no longer target weight. A week of abstinence looms so i dont have to pay next week. DS3 is exhausted. Its only the 3rd week of term :-(

CY sending big hugs to you, nasty cells... I think we'll all enjoy playing "splat the rat" with you and if enough of us do it then those nasty cells will be beaten into submission :D
I remember reading about someone who totaLly beat the crud out of a nasty illness by visualising the cells withering and dying. If we all concentrate on the baddies doing that and the heathy ones thriving and overpowering them it will hopefully do the world of good.
CY - think I'll go along with both these ideas and hope either/both help you get rid of this. Sending a big squishy (hug)x

Decided to go 'off list' for this week after all. So today managed to get all the place dusted and the kitchen and bathroom back up to standard.

That means that I just have the dailies and the floors to do the morrow. Dinner will be easy as just jacket tatty with cheese, baked beans and sausages for DH and cheese, potato and onion bake with baked beans for me.

I have already printed off the boarding cards, insurance details and hotel booking, sorted some euros and checked all that all the documents in travel bag. Just have to pack the cases and then ready to leave at 'sparrow's *art' on Thursday.

((hugs)), sticks and spoons for anyone needing some.

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

Hugs to all just because you deserve one.
Posi vibes sticks and spoons to anyone who wants them.
Playing catch up today as yesterday didn't achieve much with being off list.
Must book a taxi for the orthodontist appt but slightly annoyed as I was offered a full day in work but had to decline the morning as it clashes with that. Still can't be in two places at once.
Damp here but so far no rain
Better go and shift the boys.

    Morning flyers.

CY - I will do splatting and have withering thoughts too.

No flying for me today. I have a day out with DD, shopping and afternoon tea, can't wait.

But first I need to tame my hair so I look human in the posh hotel.

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Many thanks for the hugs, and the willingness to join in with the splat the rat. Also for the positive withering vibes. Your support means the world to me. I am very much hoping that I can get through the next 3 cycles asap and concentrate on feeling better for the festive season. I normally wouldn't mention such things in early September, but this year I need something to look forward to.

Timely splatting and withering vibes heading your way CY so that you can enjoy the run up to Christmas as well as the day itself. Very appropriate to have mentioned it, imho.

Excellent news that Mr Pigpen is enjoying his course. Energy and feeling better vibes heading your way, Piggers.

I can't work out how to sew the fabby anchor buttons on to the cushions because I haven't got a long enough needle. Never mind, they're a vast improvement.

    Progress so far:

    [STRIKE] Muck out my office[/STRIKE]
    Turn it into accommodation room
    Clean shower room
[STRIKE] Clean landing windows for secondary glazing[/STRIKE]
Get draught excluder curtain down from attic, along with LA's cushions and pillows, and put the dog crate and sewing stuff up there.
    Turn superking around
    Turn double around
    Defrost kitchen fridge
    Wash the kitchen floor again
    Wipe out lodger's fridge

N will arrive at about 9.30 tonight, so that's taken the finger off the panic button. I've done other stuff that needed doing as well, but the listy hasn't shrunk enough yet, so plenty busy today.
    Better is good enough.

Thank you Honey.. Alas I am utterly exhausted still today and wishing I'd left my bones out for the binmen yesterday!

Yarn soaking which I shall set to dyeing when OH gets back from school and can deal with Pixie. I'm aiming to dye a fair chunk today, I'm thinking in festive colours tbh. I may need to set some free.. but I know a fair number will be staying!!

Pixie is needing to be destinkt .. then cuppa.. then pretties!!

1 parcel to fling to PO .. dress I bought myself which is too big and I got more selling it on ebay than I spent buying it.. so I sold it and ordered a smaller one! :p

Cats are starving they think too!!

OH can do some tidying.. I command it!

DW done already too. Must get some washing done too today! And maybe clear a section of the worktop of doom!! ..

I sorted the corned dog into tubs and froze 4 portions of that too and put the SC in to soak.. I've for 2 chickens and some pork steaks and 2 blobs of gammon I need to cook over the next 3 days so I need it clean and now I have moved it in the reshuffle yesterday it is much easier to access and use!

Me again, waiting for DD to arrive.

CY - no problem with mentioning Christmas. We booked our Christmas dinner out last night and we weren't the first. Although I won't think about presents until after DS's birthday next month.

Might just quickly put the hoover round while I'm waiting.

 Got woken up really early!

So, gathered all washing and first load in. Chickens out. Dogs fed. Small to breakfast club and Tiny fed. DW emptied. Shepherd's pie base made (mash still to do). Tiny and Small's clothes away in drawers. Three beds made. Dinners planned for the next fortnight and shopping list made. Laundered clothes folded. Front half of the car decluttering (dreading the back seats _pale_ ). Cleared away the second dead baby pigeon to fall out of the tree next to our bedroom (I heard this one bounce off the roof last night :( ). Need to sort out my barnet then take Tiny to the doctors as his eczema has flared up again....

Bathroom to be tackled when we get back. If I have any energy left.

CY - *hugs* node shrinking vibes & a big bat to splat that rat :D

    Morning all.

Dailies except for washing dishes are already done. There's only breakfast ones so I'll wash up after my lunch. WM x2 done and on the line, 3rd one is the cleaning cloths and they're on now on a rinse cycle. I have 1 more planned (dog stuff) and I'm done with laundry until Friday. :D

I'm working again today. Its the long monotonous job of putting order forms into books, then putting the book with a sales booklet into a bag. When I've done that I then need to print out the newsletters, cut them (I print 2 to an A4 page), label them, add them to the bags. Plus I have the extras for potential new customers which need doing as well. I also need to remember to take books to school before hometime and text a customer who is no longer local so her husband can come and pick up a book (he's a taxi driver so nearly always in the area anyway).
