Great progress, Honey Bear :T Did the dog enjoy his pina colada? :rotfl:

Well, I was all set to go to U3A Genealogy this afternoon, but by lunchtime I was shivering and my eyes started to feel as if they were crossed (typical start of a migraine for me), so I took some tablets, curled up on the sofa and slept for 3 hours instead. I feel a lot better now and am hoping that I've nipped it in the bud, but I won't be able to work on the computer for long this evening. I can't afford to keep losing days like this :(

    Achievements today:
    - thick cardigan washed and laid flat to dry
    - other washing hung up
    - 2 emails sent
    - Minutes approved
    - 4 files updated and printed out
    - 2 meals cooked

Way behind with my reading list :o
  • Aww hope you caught it in this and feel better in the morning Iona

Love my dog! She's eating daddy long legs!

Ionafan I hope the sleep pushed your migraine away. DSD1 gets them and she has to sleep them off.

Bossy - sounds like you had a nice "free" day with both little moos at school. I hope you are happy with your hair and had a good catch up with your Mum.

I'm jealous of anyone who has had drying washing weather today. My TD and WM have been on continuously since 6am. DS2's room is looking much better. His bed is a bit of a Himalayan pile, he needs to sort out what to keep and what to send to the CS. He's swerved coming home from college and has gone to his girlfriend's home.

I picked the kids up from school, it was pouring. We went to swimming. I have rejigged DD2's lessons to Monday so that DS3 can go to drama club. He's still fired up from his R0bin H00d play in July. I'm amazed he's wanting to do something that's not a sport!

DH is working late, he's been to London and Birmingham today, he will be home soon so I'll sign off for tonight.

Just home - have eaten a quick dinner and watching GBBO.

The kitchen is a mess already! I don't know about everyone else but just keeping On Top of the kitchen alone takes soo much time!!

Think I will pause GBBO, tidy the kitchen and leave the bathrooms till bedtime.

Second part of doctor foster ison tonight - it's very good:):):)

Twenty minutes well spent tidying the kitchen and scrubbing the downstairs loo. The whole downstairs is visitor ready - which is my target - I hate that sinking feeling when some one turns up at the door unannounced and the house is a tip!

Have to keep updating to stay motivated! Nobody has to read this! Going upstairs now to clean the bathrooms! They got a good scrub at the weekend so should be okay. The doc foster then bed!!!
  • Evening all,

    Progress:

    [STRIKE]DW
    Quick tidy through
    Quick Hoover through
Mop kitchen floor (3 dogs running around it this morn)
    S&S
    Make beds
    WM
    WM[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]WM[/STRIKE]
    Ten years ironing

Unfortunately didn't manage the ten years of ironing, which is the one thing that really needed doing. And as it has been such a lovely day here today, I've got three loads dry on the line, so there is even more ironing. It has now reached the maximum safe height for an ironing pile and has started spreading sideways along the floor, like the blob.

Honey bear, idea of a dog in speedos made me chortle:rotfl:

Iona hope the migraine is better, do you suffer a lot?

    :D that's tomorrow!

Laptop switched off. Couldn't find the info needed so I'll look again on Monday. It wasn't urgent.

Kids decided to drag me out for tea - encouraged by the fact I had no cash for my hair appointment :o so we went to the shopping centre food court and each got something from a different place :) Also collected an order I had delivered to store - a dress for a weekend away I have coming up - and I love it :T

Beyond that we've played a couple of board games, the kiddies have basically jumped and climbed on me (smackdown stylee) and made me give them "piggy rides" at which point I hauled them onto my back and made snorting noises. Oh my days, if anyone saw us they'd send us all to the loony bin...

School uniform washed and hung to air, and fresh got out all ready for morning.

We've decided we are going to make a "shusher" - anyone who's seen the kids movie "Home" will know what this is :p the problem is, they don't seem to agree that I should be the captain... :o:rotfl:

Well I won't pretend I've done much flying, but I did evict a most enormous spider - honestly it's legs barely fit under the big beaker I trapped it under. Oh and there's nits at school already, apparently  will do a hair check in the morning...

    My skin is crawling :rotfl:

I have picked up shoes and THROWN them into the room of their owners.

    I feel better.

because walking in to a MESS when I didn't walk out leaving one isn't funny.

DD has taken the brunt of my ire. This aiten't fair because it's not ALL her fault. DS got a blistering text.

On a positive note I got a £4 pack of pork chops YS to 5p! Wooty wooty woot woot.

Cycling hope the rat-splatting goes well...

    Evening all,
Thanks for the lists. It's been very busy here so not much done. Serious catch up needed tomorrow.
CY- sending you posivibes and hope this bout treats you better.
Ionafan- hope you are feeling better.
Michelle2008- I am the same with my kitchen. In the old house I felt it was easier but in this one we have no dishwasher, no where to put recycling and hardly any work top space! It's always a mess again!
Bossy- enjoy your day tomorrow- you deserve it!

We ended up getting a baby sitter for the weekend so went to radio 2 in Hyde park. Which was great. Although I couldn't get comfy. I normally prefer to sit on the floor but had to keep standing up to stop my belly aching!

Great news here. After having two boys we have found out that this baby will be a pink one!! :j kids are very happy and so are we.

ds1 started his new swimming lessons last week and after 4 months of no lessons he got his 25m badge today. Very proud of him. I had to check at the desk as I was so surprised!

    Morning!
Am I first up? DD woke me so I've made some coffee and a cup of milk for her and checked her for the nitties :p
Thankfully all clear - had this horrible thought if she did have them I'd have to cancel my hair appointment ;)

So, I plan to be out all morning and this afternoon I will sort the spare room. There is stuff all over - bed, floor, windowsill, chair. All holiday stuff that needs to be sorted and relegated to the loft. I'll keep some swimmies out though.

Tomorrow is going to be a full-on cleaning day... So today I need to get stuff put away to make tomorrow easier...

Wishing you all a peaceful, productive day!
