Phew! Just sat down after a day of flying off-piste. Had to tackle the kitchen as it was an absolute pit. Deep cleaned the lounge on Friday, so that room looks OK. Got four loads in WM and TD, so have added to the ironing pile. I have done an hour of ironing but not much impact made :(

Will do some more when DH gets home (he can do bathtime) so that might help. Recycled some textiles today but totally forgot to get my prescription and bread for lunch boxes tomorrow - I'll pop to the garage to get a loaf later.

    Hope today went well CY

Trying to catch up on the thread but small people keep squawking :rotfl:
  • Hiya everyone,

I'm back to get on task now after the school hols, I'm at home now so iI'm currently decluttering, and cleaning. Today I've done 3 loads of washing, cleaned house from top to bottom. Tried to ring tax credits but can't get through nightmare. Tomorrow I need to bob to Aldi for fresh bits, paint all bathroom woodwork and phone doctors to see how I go about getting a copy of my medical records, dunno how best to go about it but need find out what local anaesthetic I had a reaction too.

    Hope everyone is well.

Wrecked and just through the door! But am going to do the vacuuming before the kiddies next door are in bed. Then rest, eat and start again:)

Vacuuming done - did upstairs while I was at it!

Feeling a deep deep sense of shame over how long it has been since I have vacuumed the stairs!

De cluttering the hall is next. I really need to take a few things up to the loft - can I be bothered????

I've done last nights washing up :o

I've felt the pressure of time today, but have really tried to rise above it and not let it get me in a nark. Kiddies have followed suit, been very pleasant and taken turns at things and generally been affectionate and huggy:)
I should do this more often. They really need to sort out the school thing though… not worrying tomorrow as they are at both before and after school club (which makes me feel a bit guilty but can't be helped) so I won't be doing the usual school run.

I've not done anything from the list :o but just relieved to get through the day without being mega stressed :o being the first day of our new routine.

Also been asked to go into office on Wednesday (usually WFH) which I've said yes to, but it will mean a shorter day with the drive there and back.

Must remember we've got DDs meds review with the doc tomorrow night. Another new Dr, let's see if this one tells something different as well - all the others have...

    hello

TYVM for the thread, last week Bossy and this week Natty
was on supply this am *kerching* and I am NOT going to wear myself out this week; kids go back this weekend at which point I will start to return the house to its usual pristine state, given that no-one is here to make a mess I know it will stay immaculate.

    (yeah right :rotfl:)

so laundry (ie get their stuff clean and ready to go) is the main focus. I have just picked up four million (well 20) socks off DS's floor. Normally I wouldn't but he will take them to Uni and I don't want to be running the TD and WM non-stop on Friday - so forward planning going well. However I have had a potter tonight which has been productive. And I have a new-to-me set of phones which I have set up - now the answering machine function is restored I might actually be able to get stuff sorted - ie urgent calls received AND responded to!. Being the 'poor relation' has its advantages (free stuff, if old) as well as disadvantages (mountains of clutter). They were astoundingly easy to set up.

  • Evening all,

Thanks for list natty I'm in as much as I can be. Been so busy yesterday (flying) and today (paid stuff) have not had time to post. No flying done today as have got dd1s friend overnight so as soon as I got back from work I was sorting airbed out etc (Oh had made their tea bless) then after that trying to maintain discipline so they weren't all awake until midnight. Dd1 and Dd2 share a room at the moment so with three of them in there it was all getting a bit silly. Must try and get a bit of flying done before work tomorrow, as probably no chance afterwards as dd1 has friends for tea. Major bad planning on my part!

    CY thinking of you x
