Hope the appointment goes/went well CY - thinking of you.
I have completed the thread list! Plus a few extra bits like sweeping the kitchen and bathroom *polishes halo* Still a couple of my own bits to do, but have the itch to get outside (I'm not counting going to Sainsbury's!). Might pop up to town for a coffee and a little look round for an hour or so before coming back to do dinner.
Also thanks to everyone who shared their tips for managing flying and working full time - I'm definitely going to be using some of those, particularly the one about S&Sing the bathroom or kitchen with wipes first thing before work. It takes a couple of minutes but just makes everything look so much better!"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -

Thank you.. I do have every intention of getting there, I'm just too busy or cant get an appointment or just forget.. I'm fed up of forgetting everything.. I even forget what I'm saying mid sentence.. its driving me crazy.
Pain I'm used to it is the inability to eat sleep or remember my own name I cant deal with. I could do with being able to do a school run without needing a nap to cope!.. second run today.. need to set off, not it would appear.. and I just want my bed!

I agree, I think this sums up the flylady approach. I tell myself sometimes, just 15 minutes then I can sit down. LR is done, hall and stairs hoovered. Just having a little tea break then I might see if the dog will go for a walk.
Was going to make a liver and bacon casserole for tea. I bought some YS liver and froze it on the day I bought it. Defrosted it in the fridge and it smells absolutely revolting, I am sure its off. Will have to rethink tea now.
Keeping fingers crossed CY.
Glad dgd is OK ionafan.

Thanks Natty and Bossy for the lists. I started off well last week but it didn't last long:( Must try harder this week:)
Thank you for ds1's birthday wishes, he had a good day. I can't believe he is 17:eek:
I was all set to do the living room this morning but ended up doing ds1's room instead. I know at 17 he should be doing it himself but he won't and it was really bad. He had a meltdown before school so I thought he might feel better in himself if he had a tidy room. He suffers from anxiety and I really don't know what set it off this morning. He had to go in early and was late getting up so that could have been the reason or maybe the stress of A level work or the fact he went to bed far too late...
CY hope the hospital appointment goes/went well
Pigpen cute hat!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Hugs CY really hope they had some answers for you xxx
Just at swimming with kids, I'm cheating and buying food here as we had rather a rush. School pick up was not good - reception supposed to be 5min early but were actually late so DS was stood in the rain with his teacher- last one to be collected grrr.
Still, we are here now and in the grand scheme of things it's not that important xxxBossymoo

Afternoon all
Busy day at the paid stuff, Monday always is.
Need to:
Spray the maiden
Load the other maiden
cook DS3 dinner
Clean out the GPig
Cook mine and DS2's dinner
Prep tomorrow's dinner
Do some governing paperwork. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
CY, thinking of you and hoping you get some good news
Think I might tackle some of the kitchen today too as I am going to be down at least 1 flying day this week (footie tomorrow (come on North End!) and then possibly date night wed) so flying may end up taking a back-seat for the rest of the week!Every act of kindness, no matter how small, isn’t wasted ❤️
