Morning all  and welcome to newbies.
Hope you're feeling OK today, CY :grouphug:
Glad your weekend was such a success, FBO :T

You will find the page here - the gremlins have got into the first post on this thread and there is a quote " missing after I have cleared the study bedroom to the point where I can see the floor, even if all the other surfaces are still covered in piles of papers - but they're (sort-of) organised ;) I will check through the last remaining set of boxes today and see what has to be done, and I will do my darndest to get them finished this week, now that DD does not need me until next week.

Other than that, I am aiming to
- S&S kitchen
- S&S bathroom
- do WM x2 or 3
- hand-wash cardigan
- wipe and water plants
- check finances
- make some phonecalls and send some emails re arrangements for next weekend
- book theatre tickets
- print out Old Wives' programme, ready for delivery
- type up the Minutes of the meeting we had yesterday
- fill in and post back a form that I've received re AI Scheme [URL="http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/Sentinel-Affinion-card-protection"" rel="nofollow">as advised by MSE Martin:money:

Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks all round, as needed. Catch up later x

Thanks ionafan, I knew one you lovely people would be able to show me the way!

I work at home and have no kids, but I'd struggle to get through the lists every day! I always read them and they have helped enormously to get me sorted, but my solution is 15 minutes a day of something to bring the grotty bits up to a decent standard, which has to be on top of the keeping the place relatively tidy. It took me years to find a system I could stick with, but anything I do, anything at all, is an improvement on what it was before.

First cushion completed apart from fixing buttons on it to hold it all in place. OH told me last night he bought this pair of chairs from MFI at least 30 years ago, so no wonder they're falling to bits! Buying the buttons will be fun - there are two shops on the Barbican that sell fab ones so I'm going to get little yachts or beach houses I think to match the fabric.

Room of Doom for me today, on top of sewings, as it's seriously grotty and N will be staying in there for 10 days from Wednesday.
    Better is good enough.

Big hospital appointment this afternoon - I am hoping the scan results will be back. Somehow someone has to make a decision as to the way forward.

Have edited my previous post so it is now complete. Gremlins in abundance this morning  Can't see what's wrong with my email account but have received another warning from another friend, so have changed my password. Any other advice welcomed.

Had to collect DGD1 from school and take her to the GP to get her checked out, as there has been a case of a similar but much more serious syndrome in her class this weekend and that child is still very poorly in the Children's Hospital  Fortunately the GP is sure that DGD1 just has an ordinary viral infection and was fine to go back to school. She was very happy to go :)

Ooodles of posivibes coming your way, CY, and fingers crossed for a good result.

Love the star, pigpen. Your knitting always makes me smile :)

Now 2 hours behind with my work, so I will plod on.

Thank you for the new thread Natty.

CY I hope your appointment goes the way you want it to. Thinking of you x

I have had a very productive morning. I anticipated that Monday's list would be the kitchen so it is gleaming. I have cleared the table which had become a severe hot spot. The WM is on its 4th load. I've washed all the kitchen/dining room and interior windows. The paintwork has also had a good wash.

Anyway I guessed wrong with the kitchen so this afternoon I am going to tackle the list. I'm going to have a snack then do a double HHC starting at 1pm if anyone wants to join me?

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure!
    Level Three
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself

    Extra Mission:

    • Have a bit of a tidy in the cupboard under the stairs.
    • Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    • Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it.. Do you need your winter curtains up yet?

OK, list is shorter and I've also done DH's new car insurance quote and chased up a delivery that is overdue.

I'm going to push the dyson around downstairs and up the stairs. If I get time I will wash the hard floors before I go to get DD2 from school.
