We are motoring here! DS room sorted, dusted and vacced and boxes put back in place. He took all his engines off the hornby board and we vacced that with the tools too.
Books all put back neatly. I've re-tidied my room and stripped and remade my bed. I just need to sort my hair basket. Hair too short now for scrunchies etc so I'm going to have a cull and only keep what I'll use.
Landing is a bit of a pit. But mostly stuff to be moved downstairs for rehoming or binning.
DD room will leave till later. She can have fresh bedding too but they are having a tea party at the mo, filling the teapot from the bathroom tap. I've just moved some books out of the way  they are playing nicely so I'll take advantage and have 5min...Bossymoo

ewww...
Have pulled out one of DS's wardrobes. Clearly a while since I last did this. Thick dust and cobwebs. I have taken a black bin bag up; completely stripped his bed; all bedding, including mattress protector blowing on line.
I am bottoming his room. Then I can be glad he is at Uni because he cannot be messing it up.;) Just having a coffee and I will go back and deal with vanity unit and wardrobe two. It's astonishingly satisfying watching the dust whirling in the vacuum cleaner container.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

The Sunday flying has started! Big night last night so starting slow. Washing on line and a load of towels on. Dishwasher emptied and reloaded. Tonight's dinner simmering away in slow cooker.
Once I clear the worst of the kitchen I will run through every days tasks again!0 -
Lots of us doing well today
WM1,2 and 3 on the line
Cupboard with board games sorted, sackfull for CS
100 emails deleted
Mould wiped off DR french doors (must get these replaced next year)
Paintwork wiped down in hallway and DR and kitchen door
DS3 lunch made
Going to hoover upstairs next and then do some eb4y listing and see what else there is for the CS - this stuff will be leaving the house this week.
Chair to take to DS1's later tooThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I am sitting here with tears in my eyes for Valli and Dancemum. I caught a glimpse of my boy walking down the road yesterday and everything about him, his walk, his body language and just the way he looked gave me a shock. He looked so grown up. Sigh.
Oh and Dizzy I really hope today is a better day for you.
So, DS1 and OH are out. DS2 is shut in the living room watching a film. I am at a bit of a loose end. I have shortened the new door curtain and put it up in the hall. Couple of loads of washing done. Will take the dog out later.
I did think about doing some baking but we have no eggs and it is silly getting in the car and going to the shops just for that. The car needs washing but dont know if I can be bothered.0 -
Both wardrobes and vanity unit out, vacuumed behind and dusted and wiped - tops, sides, back, front and put back. Vacuum now so full of dust it is whistling.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

We are doing homework- DS struggling to concentrate so we did a bit yesterday and will do the rest in two sessions today. It's not tricky nor is there a lot, but he's not quite back in the swing yet. DD has asked me to make her some as she doesn't have any, nor was she sent home with a reading book. We are currently discussing where to use capital letters lol. She spelt ballet BaLLeT yesterday- was impressed she could spell it at all till she pointed out it was written on her kit bag :rotfl:
We've also picked some apples and swept the top patio.
Lunch was had and no idea what's for dinner... Freezer surprise?
pigpen
that is the cutest thing! Can you make me one? (The hat, not the child! Don't make me one of those!)Bossymoo

Great to hear things are going better this time around, CY - long may it continue.
Big (((hugs))) for all Flyladies waving their DDs and DSs off to uni. There wasn't a single spare car parking space on the Hoe last night and all the B&Bs are full to bursting, so I thought of my Flyfriends dropping your skids off in various far flung cities and just wanted to hug you all. Having met one of said skids, I can fully appreciate just how much she'd be missed, too.
Dancemum a heafty does of bicarb left overnight on the pooh-smelling things once scrubbed and dry would get that nif out. There's no need to ask me how I know .... What is WRONG with our animals? Kelpie was dirty last night and he's normally a very clean chap. Washing machine whirring, things soaking in the bath and carpet scrubbing occurring here .... Not a happy bunny in Plymouth, I can tell you.Better is good enough.0 -
