Well I have had a lovely day. A mate came round for a natter this morning, I had a lovely snooze this afternoon and a short trip to the school social this evening.
I am duly kn******d. But smiling. I only have one more sickness tablet, so I am hoping that tomorrow is as good as today.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Hi all x
Apart from hanging some washing out and bringing it back in I haven't achieved much more today, well washing up and nappy changing and constantly saying it it!
DGS is now in his cot fast asleep and DD and I have now been fed. Just going to wash up then I'm going to do some knitting.I am dead on my feet today.. 2 school runs 20 skeins of yarn dyed.. tbf I did only do 18.. DS1 and his OH did one each too!
it all looks very pretty on the line.. I shall bore you with pics..
This is the first time I have sat down al day.. thought a nice quiet cuppa before I start dinner and I am being harassed to death!
Other than dyeing I have not done a thing!
Eh? Is mine dry yet? :rotfl::rotfl:I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
What a week. Sorry, not really up to date on what's happening but I am hoping that the anti-sickness drugs work CY and wishing happy holidays for Natty. Had a scare at the hospital with DS yesterday when we thought he was having a reaction to his drugs. All OK in the end thankfully.
Then today someone hacked into DSs Xbox account and put through 2 x £70 transactions. Thankfully Microsoft have grudging agreed to refund it, although I am sure that they think it is DS or one of his mates.
On the flying front things are reasonably tidy but I will catch up on a bit of washing tomorrow if it's dry. Need to really do a bit of gardening too.
Off to read my book. OH and DS watching the rugby.0 -
[STRIKE][/STRIKE]Evening all,
Done enough to relax:
[STRIKE]DW
Clear kitchen work tops
Clear dining table
Put all pile of carp away that OH has emptied from car boot
Fast tidy of all rooms
WM[/STRIKE]
Hoover all rooms
[STRIKE]Walk dog
Don't forget to pick DD2 up from Lego club
Don't forget to pick DD1 up from birthday party
Cobble something together for tea[/STRIKE]
HHI if I'm lucky
Open wine
And I'm just going to do the last one on the list now:beer: I can live without hoovering and ironing until tomorrow (it is this sort of attitude that made me need to come to this thread in the first place, which is both bad and good, if that makes sense)
Big news re our renovations, we have a working toilet in what will be the bathroom. :j tiles arrived today.
CY glad you have had a lovely day. YL glad it turned out ok with your DS x
See you all tomorrow, it's another big catchup weekend. X0 -

upshot - house looks AWFUL
all packing stacked in DR; DD volunteered to move her HUGE pile to LR; thus (hopefully) ensuring stuff goes with rightful owner - bearing in mind I bought both of them similar stuff...
went to theatre with mum so we went to see DS at work (she took some convincing that someone her age would be ok in there - cue me muttering 'look there are grey haired people in here...' :rotfl:
DS was bemused. and she made me leave him a tip...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all
Plan for a quiet day here with paperwork and bathroom cleaning. Nobody else is up yet, it is lovely. Filled up my bird feeders yesterday so enjoying my little friends this morning.
Have a good day all.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning
What a beautiful day out there. WM and DW are on, have whizzed round down stairs with the carpet sweeper. Just checking my finances. Going to get outside and do some tidying in the garden later.
OH and DS1 still in bed, DS2 watching sport on the telly. As in Dustyland all is peaceful here.
Any tips for getting green sludgy stuff off the patio? Its just in one corner, I did think about getting down on my hands and knees and scrubbing it. OH has a very powerful pressure washer but I hate using it.0 -

Well we have woken up this morning to ds2 covered in chicken pox. Luckily we had no major plans for the weekend but a bit of a headache for work next week!
So, apart from a hairdresser app for me and a run for OH we will be stain at home all weekend. oH has suggested starting to decorate ds1s bedroom so hopefully the weekend will still be productive.
Oh, and we have had a text to say my sil is in labour so hopefully by the end of the day we will have do e news about my nephew!
Anyway, list for the weekend....
