Shower room scrubbed. I think I'm going to have to do it every day while I have three or four adults staying, so I can keep on top of it. Stick cleaner whisked around the top and middle layer - I'm never going to get on top of the dog fluff.

Tricky convo had with chief new lodger; I think we have a clearer idea of how to make the next week as stressless as possible. The fact is, if someone is allergic to cats, it's their responsibility to check whether there's a cat when booking to stay in someone's home. And at the end of the day and the road - there's a service laundrette. I'm sick of that particular conversation and anyone turning up with dirty laundry and expecting to be allowed to use the washing machine will get the same answer in future. In fact, so will all the theatre people; it's clear on the digs list that we don't offer that facility so why do difficult people all think it doesn't apply to them? Feel much calmer about the whole thing now that I've decided how to manage that persistent problem.
    Better is good enough.

    Have a lovely holiday natty!
Hope your appointment goes well neveah

Can I make a thread suggestion - can we add the definition of Mr T/S/A/M/L etc to the thread intro? Also I vote that a certain German discounter with a blue and orange logo should be known as 'Herr A' to avoid confusion with Mr A, who I assume is a Leeds-based shop with a green logo now owned by Americans...

Yes, Herr A is Aldi :) Logo is half a light blue A on a dark blue background and then an orange border around it with Aldi in white letters. (I probably shouldn't know that should I?)

Should we say Herr L then too? Aren't they brothers? Or is that an urban myth?

Ok, so I've done quite a bit today, but it doesn't look like it.

    General dailies plus:
WM and TD x 5
Spent an hour in the play room and decluttered a wholeness of shizzle into the bin. Sorted out three BIN bags of kid's clothes - some to CS bag, some to textile recycling, rest into loft to pass on when needed. Still a WIP though...
Stripped Small's bed (need to remake ASAP)
Picked 600g of rosehips to make into liqueur.
Had hair cut (Tiny was reasonably well-behaved for most of it)
Shopped for brandy, gin and sherry. I must've looked like an alcoholic :( plus a few other needed items.
    Bought glass bottles and jars.
Came home and prepared loads of damsons and rosehips for said alcohol and bottled up with sugar to steep over the next three months.
Prepared and am now cooking curry.

Still got all the ironing and a whole tonne of stuff needing doing, but I'm exhausted.
