That's true biscuit monste! He seems ok. Left him in his pjs today so he is comfy and less washing and ironing to do! Lol!
We have had the phone call saying my nephew has arrived! 9lb 2oz. Will pop over later or tomorrow s o have had to sort out presents etc. I had everything as I decided to do a new baby hamper but had to organise it all and wrap it etc. card has been written and a little pressie for my niece is all wrapped up ready to go. Just need to get a balloon on the way!
On a separate note, the wm seems to be broken again! It broke last year and hubby managed to fix it but it took three weeks to order and fit the part. IF it's the same thing it might be best to just buy a new one this time! More expense! So no washing will get done today!
Updated list...

OK I think I have earned a cup of tea and a digestive. I have chucked a load of soapy water on the patio and attacked it with the yard brush. It's still drying so we will see. Pulled up most of the bedding as it looks messy and had a general tidy up. We usually put the garden chairs in the greenhouse but this seems to be full of junk so another job to do.
Going to have half an hour with my brew then I might walk the dog.0 -
Afternoon all! Having a very lazy day, but I did expect to need one after doing 2 exciting activities yesterday. But on a positive note I feel fine - when I have overdone it recently I have felt dreadful, but not this time.
It's a lovely sunny day here, but definitely with a tinge of autumn. Still at least it's not raining.
DD1 had a last minute change of work venue for today - she is working at our local shop today so is coming for tea. Looking forward to seeing her..
Hope everyone is having a good day.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Bedding stripped and washed
Dead tree dug out of the garden

Evening,
Well, not as much done as I would like, will carry the rest over for tomorrow. sort of got a bit slightly distracted this morning with a book :oHave however been to pet food shop and stocked up, then had a naughty KFC for tea, then worked it off with a 6.5 mile walk with the dog. Frizzle congrats on new nephew. CY glad you feel well. I'm off now to stop OH working. He's been trying to get the new bathroom floor level all day, ready for tiling. He's still at it bless him. Have a good evening all x

Have taken DD to her new flat; mum took DS to his house share (this year he is sharing with his cousin (my niece) among others!).
Got to DD's - flat fine but her room clearly had not been cleaned - we complained, cleaner sourced, profuse apologies and DD was given a £25 Amazon gift card by way of an apology!. Lovely lovely friendly staff even if they were in Yorkshire :rotfl: (see edit) Cleaners came; did a first-class job; company emailed to congratulate staff on the efficient way they dealt with the issue and how polite/kind they have been.
I, however, have sobbed. I was OK until Lisa Tarbuck played 'Sweet Caroline' as that was a name I had considered for her. Both Vallikids gone in one day -n and it's DS's birthday Friday (and mine Saturday).
However *shakes self and reverts to Pollyanna mode* I will have a clean house VERY VERY SOON
But not tonight

The morning started off with dog poo being trampled in to the hall whilst ds1's life was being packed in to the dancemobile. I then trod in it with bare feet so had to send ds1 to get a floor wipe (I knew he would know where those were). Had to then clean all of our front path, pavement and hall mats. I think they will need replacing as the smell will not go away.
We had a smooth journey to uni apart from thick fog part of the way.
Ds2 was looked after by my friend. He hasn't been left with anyone apart from school since he was a baby. They both survived.
I overheard a conversation between 2 of ds1s new flat mates. One asked the other if he had brought food. The other hadn't. They both said they were banking on their finance being paid on Monday. I wonder is ds1 will feed them. I wanted to pop back to the shops to get them something.
Valli hugs. If you ever fancy a meetup let me know. I'm not sure if you are working full time at the moment. Weekdays better when the challenger is at school.
It is strangely quiet here, DH and I have a sofa each. When I set the table for dinner I laid a place for ds1. I suppose I will learn.
Basics done and 230miles driven. X0
