I am so glad today is nearly over. It started early and badly with boy pup having had a terrible upset tummy in the night  Luckily (that's not even a word I would use in this situation) we had put him in his crate, so the awful mess was contained. Let's just say I was busy cleaning for an hour. DH hosed him down, then sloped off to work until lunchtime.

The bad day continued when I discovered the orchard floor smothered in wasps all feeding on the chozzled remains of the windfall apples that DH had kindly MOWED OVER rather than pick up. Considering he has a serious allergy to wasps, that was a little silly, no? So, a further hour raking and clearing up this mess, as best I could while holding back two small children (wanting to "help"), three huge dogs (all interested in what I was doing) and six generally nosy chickens...*sigh*

Broke Tiny's car seat trying to get it into the Isofix clips in the Audi. Again, "luckily" just the polystyrene side padding, but I actually considered launching the seat until, as if by magic the clips ratcheted into place

There is more, but I'll end with another poorly puppy dog incident, more cleaning and washing.

    Oh and I'm freezing :(

    appreciated

For the life of me I cannot understand why it's harder now...

Dancemum- unfortunately I am working every weekday even if just from 12...

Anyway *shakes self* have put a towel wash on.

Tomoorw I plan to de-grot DS's pit and then move the car boot stuff in there 'for now'. DD has no mugs and no glasses - I'm stumped. She did have...last year I cried in anticipation but I keep dissolving - she wanted me to facetime her but I can't - not yet.

Yesterday I ran errands and by the time I got home, put the shopping away, drank a coffee while updating my finances, it was time to go out to work. I got in from work at 10pm (thankfully I was only down the road & DD can be trusted to behave) and then did admin until midnight.

Today has just flown by. Took birthday cards to my sister, walked the dog, backed up then updated my phone, had a bath as the shower still isn't fixed but hopefully it'll be done one night next week. Since then I've done 5 loads of laundry and helped DD with her English Language homework as she wasn't 'getting it'. Teaching assistant hat on and I got her thinking and jotting down notes ready to answer the question. :D

Tomorrow I'm hoping to get up, get a wash load on and get the dog out for a walk by 7am so I can get back and get a coat of paint on the front door after hanging the washing out. I'm leaving DD at home with a list of chores (all easier to do without the dog here) and I'm considering taking the internet cable with me to stop her getting distracted by social media on her phone. She's already used her data allowance up until October so has to use the wifi to do stuff ;) When I get back I'll either be painting the door or flying, I'll have to wait and see what time I get in. I don't think my neighbours would appreciate me sanding down a door at 8am on a Sunday ;)

Well the WM and TD are both finished so time for bed :D Night all

Big hugs Valli, you will settle down again, you can do this and we are here. You are probably just at a 'different hormonal place' this weekend.

Dizzy Imp wishing you a calm day

Dancemum hope you don't miss DS1 too much

WM1 has finished so I'll put that on the line and have a second cuppa and wash up.

Ebay final listing offer has just landed in my inbox so I will list the pesky items I've been meaning to do for ages today.

Morning all. What a lovely day it was yesterday, spent most of it in the garden tidying.

Today DH is home so I'm planning a relaxing day with Sunday lunch out as I'm working away part of this week.

Have a great day everyone, and I'll catch up with you on the new thread sometime mid week.

Huggles to all the mamas missing their flystudents xxx

I've finally sorted the spare room! The bed was cleared, as was the floor, windowsill etc and everything put away. Bed is now covered in kids books, as I've vacced everywhere including the bookshelf. But it will only take 5min to put them back in a sensible order.

DS is sorting toy tubs. He's having trouble letting go ;)

Also did bathrooms yesterday- looking much better in Chez Bossy!
