Awful to hear you have been flooded Dizzy it must be heart breaking. Hope you get back to normal as soon as possible.

Spent a total of £36.12 so far this month but shopping tomorrow.
Glad to say I have almost finished the present shopping just 2 more to get and a couple of gift vouchers which daughter is picking up tomorrow for me. Think we need to keep a cow or two in the garden because we are certainly getting through the stuff in recent weeks.

£14.95 in Aldeeee today - got my Christmas puds (doing two Christmas lunches a week apart as m'chap will be with his son on the 25th, so I'm reprising a smaller version at New Year - my DS is thrilled as he'll be around for both!), cheese biscuits (I'm also holding back from purchasing the actual fromage just yet, as I risk eating it all:rotfl:!) and some usual top up shopping. I'm going to do a little bit of the Christmas food shop at a time over the coming weeks, as things start to have decent use-by dates, so all I'll have to get right at the end is fresh veg. Frozen turkey will do - I've seen a nice ready prepared one in Aldeee that I might treat myself to, if I'm within budget, I know it's lazy, but it means I can spend more time with the family and less in the kitchen.:)

    Hi all,

    Budgets updated to here :)

Shopped in Aldee yesterday for the week. Pleased that we are still within our budget and I have also picked up a couple of Christmas bits - Florentines and stollen slices.

Have Mum coming Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. She follows WW and I follow SW so I will cook salmon and new pots on C/Eve and we will have turkey and lamb on C/Day. Have ordered a suet free Christmas pud from a small local supplier and will be buying only one tub of chocs. Kids will be happy as long as there is choc and DH is more of a cheese fanatic, so he will be easy to please!

    Hope all are doing well.
