We have Storm Desmond and its WILD! Last night at work we had to lock one of the doors because the adjoining door was creating a type of vacuum and nearly ripped a door off. Crazy!!
Stay safe!

Gah! December's budget has been blown to Kingdom Come. We've been flooded very badly following the horrendous rain as the river burst in front and behind our property. Thigh high water and quite scary. Have lost both freezers, fridges and the entire kitchen ruined, plus the whole of the downstairs  No food except tinned items. Fully insured so it will all get sorted but *head in hands*...
I'm out until further notice, but I shall return...
You poor thing, that must be horrendous.... big hugs to you and hope you soon get sorted and back to normalWell Behaved women seldom make history

So sorry to hear you have been flooded Dizzy Imp.
Food shopping done for the week with some bits for Christmas, some mince pies/cakes for work and a couple of treats for the weekend after our run was cancelled due to the storm.
I was doing OK until I went into M&S and spent £16! I was given a voucher yesterday for £5 off £50 for M&S valid until Christmas Eve which will cover all our Christmas needs and a stock up of GF sausages etc. It's not a huge saving but they cater well for GF. Not sure if we will use this today and pop it all in freezer or wait until next week.
Total is now £81.48 out of £315 and I will need some GF mince pies for work next week.
We had the sausage breakfast burgers from Aldeee last night and they taste just like McD sausages!Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
