    First day of the month may not have gone too well. It was my youngests birthday so we had a takeaway Chinese. It was actually a complete disappointment. I can make better :-/. Thank you for changing my budget. I'll be buying a few bits for dinner tomorrow then doing a big shop at the weekend.

    Isn't chicken/dog food expensive!? It's a big chunk out of my budget. Luckily the hens are all laying ATM so they're earning their keep. Mutts - you need to up your game...

    First shop of the month done split between three shops, bought more than I needed (as ususal) and this came to £78.09. Which will Deffo last me a week and, in theory, won't need to buy as much next week. We will see. Have updated sig with amount and percentages

    I'd like to give this a go: £100 this month.

    £18.20 in Aldi yesterday, then £1.34 in Sainsburys. I fully expect this shop to last me for 10 days.
