Morning all! Got an Asda delivery due this morning and have chicken food and dog biscuits to add to the total, but going to try really hard this month to come in under budget. No alcohol for me and meals planned, so no excuses! Will update later - good luck everyone x0

Hiya all
Could I please rejoin, I have done this several times over several years and it has always helped but I always stray, but not now. I have got 4 years left (hopefully) of debt busting and need to keep on the straight and narrow, so am in it to win it. Could you please put me down for £300 I will also keep a percentage score too, I like percentages as a means to track me throughout the months/years.
Big thanks to all who run this thread

Have done my first shop of October which was just a small top up shop in Icel*nd for £10.39. Won't be needing any joints this month as bought all meat & fish I need out of September's money which I was keeping track of although not posting as was only at home the last week.
Hoping that I keep doing fairly small shops throughout the month in order to put some extra money towards my Christmas fund.

Online shop arrived for £79.32, plus chicken and dog biscuits costing £23.99, so starting October with a spend of £103.31. Doesn't seem a lot of shopping for the money, but I've got enough nappies to last the month unless I'm really unlucky :eek:0

Hi I would like to join this challenge please. My month runs from the 1st until the 31st October and I would like to budget £250 for the month. I have no idea if that is too much or not enough for me and the 3 cats. So this month will be a trial run
Thanks very muchMortgage and debt free0 -

I'm in for October!
It's me, my OH and a dog. We usually spend around £400 per month and I'm going for £300 for October.
My OH is doing intermittent fasting this month to lose a bit of weight so I've worked out my meal plan for two weeks. We should save money with him not eating! I think I could spend less than £300 but we're going to a food fair next weekend and I usually spend at least £80 there on all the great stuff I can't get anywhere else!
First shop done, should do for the next two weeks apart from a top up for bread and fruit.
Mr T £65.30
Health food shop £11.45
Greengrocer £3
TOTAL £79.75Original MF Date January 2035. MF Date February 20220 -
£7.65 in Mr T yesterday on ingredients for SW chicken kiev, mu11ers, a cheeky tube of crisps and £3.95 in Mr S this evening on potato waffles and some sweets for DS, DH and me. It's annoying that the Mr S waffles are £1 for 12 but are not GF so I have to buy the BEye ones for £1.70 for 10 which are.
DH and I are off tomorrow so we may have lunch out (different budget) so no food spends. Will visit the greengrocers, Iceland and maybe Aldee Saturday for the weekly shop but should be smallish as I am away with work this week and DH, who doesn't cook, will be eating SW ready meals twice a day! Good job I have 2 vouchers for free meals.:)Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750
