Evening all and a warm welcome to the new peoples and returners :hello:
Thank you Zippy and Coxy for running the thread every month
Sorry I'm a bit late to this month but just back from a holiday in Ibiza to visit my DS. Had a great time and lots of sunshine
Please put me down for £240 for this month as need to get a few seasonal items and want to restock some things for the freezer.
My month runs from the first day to the last day of every month and includes all food, toiletries and cleaning/washing supplies for myself and DH. So I am still in September atm and will be over here on the First.
Good luck to everyone and trust you enjoy being part of the thread, sharing some ideas and tips and saving money.
Hope you all have a marvellous Monday

Hi! I'd like to join the grocery challenge for October. We really need to cut back and although I'm not sure how much more we can realistically save, as we do a lot of the suggested grocery saving ideas already, I want to see if we can spend £220. last month we spent £260. We're a family of 4.
Thank you!GC October £158.00/£220 And we're only halfway through the month!

Hi all
First shop of the month is done. i'm slightly annoyed as I paid a bit over the odds for ketchup and soft drinks. £4.70 at Coop. I have had a few NSDs though, so I suppose I'm doing fine.
I am determined to do well this month. I have got a freezer full of meat and fish, and I really want to use it up. The freezer could use a defrost, and lots of the contents are fairly ancient. I do need to work out what to do with some random meat, including something called skirt steak. No idea what on earth that is, but I will work something tasty out!
I'm going to do a biggish shop tomorrow. i want lots of veg, diet coke, milk, bread, etc., and ingredients to turn some YS turkey mince into meatballs, and to make soup.
Good luck in October everyone!2025 goals
