  • I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN lol I thought that might be bright enough! I kind of stalked the September thread for the last week and feel we could really cut down. I haven't collected our receipts however did a weekly shop today and have started now! In the house is myself, my OH, our 17 YO niece and our 4YO daughter. And a cat lol! So at a rough estimate I would say we probably spent around £450 last month however in all honesty I have no idea! I am looking to cut our weekly shop to around £60 per week which I think should be achievable. I will be collecting my receipts from today and see how much we spend until 18/10 so I have a better idea for November but starting now!
You guys have some amazing tips! Tomorrow I will be doing a stock check of my cupboards and freezer and going from there!
    Thanks!

  • Hello all. Please count me in again. October budget of £250.

September going OK, the no biscuits/crisps/sweets/junk policy has really made a difference and I've bought some winter store cupboard bits too, hoping October will be similar.

Thanks to all for the threads and inspirational posts.

  • Going to stick to £400 for October please. This is to include getting some stuff in for my halloween party, my fireworks party and even some christmas bits!

I'm going away for New Year so want to try to spend as little as possible November/December. I simply WILL be organised this year!!
