Added up my receipts so far and have spent £54.16 so have £95.84 left. Am v pleased with this as we had DSS and his girlfriend to stay for a few days last week. Have the other DSS coming tomorrow for a few days but I think I have the main parts of meals in. Hoping I can manage with the budget for this month as I haven't done the grocery challenge for a g e s .
Good luck all.0 -
Lynnejk Thanks for the advice - I follow the Girl Called Jack Facebook Page so will look there for some new recipes to try

:rotfl: I had hoped I would get one too, but got so cold I had to go and get some firelighters from the garage to start the woodburner (oh, and some bread), so £2.94 spent. I'll update my signature later x0 -

Nothing spent from the grocery budget yesterday but £3.45 from "going out" budget on cups of tea in the canteen. Felt like everybody needed a shoulder to cry on at work yesterday. Was just going to say that today would definitely be NSD all round but remembered I have to pick up some food for my daughter who's popping home from uni tomorrow for the day. DEFINITELY NSD tomorrow :-)3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. Declutter from 22.5.22: 105/250 Car finance PAID OFF £7,848.88 IN 2019 (0% LOB)0

Spent £2 on treats for someone else the other day - does that count?
Was expecting to have to do a full shop by now, but popped into Sainsbos just for milk. Cashews and almonds were on offer, and I found some YS satsumas. Total spend was supposed to be £1. Ended up as £20.35 - but I was able to use a £3 off £20 voucher to bring it down to that total, and now have enough nuts to last me until next Sept.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Surprise NSD! I worked out that I'm going out with friends tomorrow evening, so will be buying a drink anyway, and because my daughter isn't coming up until tomorrow afternoon, I don't need to buy her bits until tomorrow morning, rather than today. Result = today is a NSD! :j So 1/3 of this month has been non-spend days so far. Feel a bit happier with that.3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200.
