"The British Parking Association is currently investigating allegations of evidence tampering by parking operator, UK Parking Control."
Note the words "parking operator" and not employees. Hopefully this means that the BPA (ltd) will go after the company as a whole and not just those few lowly employees who it seems were pressured into meeting targets. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Now in the Telegraph - in the Crime section!

I wonder if they meant to say:
“We have been caught out and had to confirm that pictures of vehicles, at a number of car parks, have had their timestamp altered by some silly employees.
They have been dismissed for being bit too thick to make it appear as though the vehicles had over-stayed when this was not the case.
It is a shame these Muppets weren't more careful.
Obviously our greed and staff incentive scheme is wholly to blame for this, and we regret being caught out.
We hope our efforts at damage limitation will get us all out of this unfortunate mess, and we can carry on with our money making schemes in the near future.
We are also grateful to the PO box number scheme which has sucked in the press and media by hiding our real address in Beaconsfield by making people think we all operate from a postal depot near Uxbridge” a statement from UKPC read.0 -
Thanks to Parking Prankster for this.
Another car-park and "warden" has emerged as another location where the scam might have taken place:-

Shame on POPLA for believing UKPC instead of the motorist . And note the statement by UKPC that the time stamps can not be altered .What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

The DVLA will be doing what they did with Proserve and treating UKPC as innocent until the BPA say they are still innocent.
Even if the fraud squad obtain a conviction, the BPA will still say UKPC are innocent.Je Suis Cecil.0
