There's a bit of a bug going around atm tea. Both Mr CP and I felt sick and icky for a day or so. At different times, before anyone questions my dodgy cooking.

Bank stuff sorted out eventually after a lot of phone calls. Turns out Amazon sometimes take random tester payments to check your card still works. Never noticed that before. Got to say though, my bank's fraud team are really rude and keep you on hold for ages, whereas my credit card provider are much better. Maybe need to change accounts. As well as that, feeling tired, sore and wiped out and not going to have lost any weight as yesterday I decided a good lunch would be a bag of popcorn and a whole tub of haagen dazs.

Oh, and went to see my aunt at the weekend. Went up with my brothers.

It was ok. She's so tiny now and on so much morphine now, she's almost completely out of it, and it turns out she thought I was there a couple of weeks ago. I think going to see her was the right thing to do - there wasn't a heavy goodbye scene as I don't think she's quite there yet but it won't be long.

Another day another raft of.phone calls.

I'm get esa apparently they will pay it Thursday after much discussion they agreed to pay it yesterday or today "when system is working" guess what? So yep on the phone.

I'm not good enough for the job on Thursday I can't motivate enough to.do a presentation

Just self pitying will be okay.

Thinking back to everyone I have ever interviewed for jobs - all were good enough for the job. The only drawback was that I interviewed more people than I had jobs. melly, you will be fine, even if you have to wing it.

I am glad you got to see your aunt, code. Boo for a rude bank team! My banks fraud team are rather enthusiastic. I have to tell them if money is being drawn outside of the area or they panic. They froze my card when WaSp took out £10 from where Milliefleur lives just in case.

Ugh poor you, Melly. Hang in there and have a hug. Say hi to Alan for me!

We are waiting for the insurance assessors for the damage to the car, we will know more after that. WaSp spent the night having dreams about the hire car being damaged, it is so white and pristine we are both panicking! This is a poor area and a glowing white, 2 year old Toyota stands out like a sore thumb. It is better than it could be, they offered WaSp a BMW because our car is declared a classic (it isn't, it's just an old Saab. Every car becomes a classic if you own it for long enough) and they thought we were into posh cars! A BMW wouldn't have lasted a minute here without the wheels and badge going missing.

WaSp turns out to have the same weird blood pressure anomaly as me! It isn't common so it is very strange that we both have it. His doctor told him that it is nothing we are doing, it just happens in some people. Spooky though! They are having as much trouble controlling his as they do mine and we are on identical medication now!

I'm on the couch with a grinchy old man who can't jump so well now (knee arthritis) and a greedy snoring creature.

Froo doesn't like sharing me but she's allowing boo a couple.of hours cuddles.

I am so glad that you have fur cuddles, Melly. I am sure they must be all that's keeping you going sometimes. Pets with their unconditional love can be such a comfort. I am crossing everything that Healthy Minds goes well for you tomorrow, it is about time you were given a break.
