  • It's so cold here too tea. It's stopped raining for the time being at least, but it's been so dark and miserable all day. Why can't we have lovely fluffy snow instead? Fluffy blankets rock! Couldn't be without mine :)

I've got to go to three hours of training this evening, am seriously considering taking the blanket :)
Not looking forward to it. I fully appreciate the need for guiding to be safe, but I do this for a living. If there's one thing I know....it's risk assessments. Not due to finish till 10pm, which is way past my bedtime.

If you feel up to it melly, I'd think about contacting your MP. It's amazing how quickly things can move once they get involved.

Will be good to meet the other leaders in training. If you were thinking of any other kind of meet you're out of luck, guiding is female only :D

Oh, did you mean Girl Guides?

I didn't realise! I thought it was to do with work! :rotfl:

Won't any Scoutmasters be on this training? :D

(Are they still called Scoutmasters? Probably not! :rotfl:)

I've still got my trefoil badge somewhere. I might even have my patrol badge somewhere too! :D)

I've still got my trefoil badge too! Haven't a clue what happened to my uniform or my badges though.

If you're filling in any appeals, melly, make sure you get help from CAB or DIAL or someone who knows the descriptors and the system and how to work it best.
As for RR - no news is good news?

JM - the Hallucinations book has been on my reading list for ages. You'll have to let me know how easy it is to follow as I'm lighter reading only at the moment - concentration isn't there for anything heavier just yet.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
