Aberdeen is a lovely place. I really enjoyed my time up there. How does your name relate to it!
Calley, where did you say you got your Turkish yoghurt from? I've heard of Greek yoghurt but never Turkish, but think I would like it as I like thick yoghurt.0 -

I'm sure Whitewing was joking! And what she probably meant was that we are very individual, idiosyncratic, unique people, the like of whom are often misunderstood by the general populace!
Plus she included herself in the generic term!(I just lurve spiders!)

Lidl it £1.39 for a 1kg tub. Its really thick set. You have to flick it off the spoon thats how thick it is.
Look here to see what the tub look likes

I was wondering about Torry Quine, too, so I just googled it.
Torry is a part of Aberdeen, formerly a village, and Quine is a derivative of queen, used as a friendly term for women, like 'hen' in other parts of Scotland, or I suppose, 'pet' in Newcastle.
Hopefully that's correct, Torry?(I just lurve spiders!)

Oh yeah I know she was. I just don't think it's a very nice term. Just ignore me, still got a headache so am probably a bit ratty. I wouldn't even call people idiosyncratic either, as that is just as bad, and IMO doesn't help with the stigma that is still somewhat attached to mental health problems. And, everyone in the world is unique, that's what makes us human beings!0 -

Thanks for that.I really wish we still had a Lidl in town, but they closed it to make way for a B&M Bargains, and the nearest one is over 30 miles away. Next time I'm through, I'm going to stock up like I did with the tomato ketchup (came back with about 6 bottles!)
Is it really creamy?0 -

Ah right, I just always assumed Torrys name was Victoria or something!0 -

Yes it is creamy.
Oh thats a bummer. I am lucky that I have 1 lidl a mile and half away and an Aldi 2 miles away. And then another two lidls in opposite directions 7 miles away.

Georgie, WW was quoting a term I'd used in the previous post. I tend to think of it as a case of owning the term - so some words are viewed differently depending on whether you're in that group or not. Like geek, nerd, etc.0
