Big hugs (((((WaS))))) Sorry to hear you haven't been well these last few days, and so sorry to hear about your friends grandmother.

Tea, it could just be a bit damp from all the rain, especially if you've had condensation on the inside a lot.
It might be worth emptying out the boot to make sure there's nothing damp festering there.
Otherwise, it could be leaves have got into the engine and frizzled. Again, worth opening the bonnet and clearing out any debris.
Otherwise, perhaps your aircon needs a service?:D:D

Happy Burns Night code, and do we have any other Scots?
Our supermarkets have been full of stuff to celebrate Burns Night, and I fancy trying a haggis again! I had one years ago when I visited a penpal in Aberdeen and really enjoy it.
Tea, you haven't spilt a coffee or anything in your car have you or had some milk spill? I remember I had a bottle of milk that leaked out once, the car stunk to high heavens for ages afterwards.0 -
It does smell milky - but I haven't had anything in there so no idea what it is! I don't have air con or anything that fancy
It is a complete tip though so definitely needs a clean, although have no idea when I'll get the time for that. It always makes me laugh how clean and tidy I keep my house compared to the state of my car :rotfl:.
It also badly needs a service - the exhaust sounds like it's about to fall off :rotfl:.0 -
Get a new car air freshener, tea, as a temporary measure. It will help a bit.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

What is it you put in fridges to absorb smells? Is it Bicarbonate of soda?
If so, you could leave a dish of it in the car when it's stationary.
Edit. Yes, I googled.
" Baking soda, coffee grounds, silica gel, activated charcoal and even cat litter helps absorb odours."(I just lurve spiders!)

:.
:rotfl: Same here! House fine, car a tip! I have car bin which I use, but seem to forget to empty! The back seat is strewnwith a combination of those bag for life's, clothes and other random objects.
I read that as 'get a new car' at first WW, I thought that's abit extreme isn't it!:rotfl:

The back of my car is usually full of shoes. Every so often I have to collect them up as there's none left in the house :rotfl:. If anyone sits in the back seats they have to move a lot of shoes out of the way first

That's so randomly weird, Tea! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
But I like it!
I've got everything but the kitchen sink in the back of mine! Very often there's no room for shopping!
I keep my Zumba bag and My French class bag in there, then a million empty shopping bags of different sizes, and then all sorts of just in case stuff.....old warm jackets, waterproofs, hat, scarf, gloves, old shoes, giant umbrella, kitchen roll, cloths for wiping windows, ice sticks, spare folding tripod stool.
Then emergency car stuff.......tow rope, jump leads, bungees etc.
I'm a warrior! Hence a survivor!(I just lurve spiders!)

Morning Shipmates,
Hugs, squishes and handshakes to all that need them.
Right still sat in my dressing gown at the moment.
Now if anyone tells you not to hoard receipts tell them they are wrong. Thanks to my hoarding instincts I have found receipts for things that I need to get refunded/exchanged as they have 10 year guarantees on. And I bought these items late 2012 early 2013.
So need to go and buy new kitchen taps as the other ones are messed up. Work but the chrome is coming off of them. And my saucepans that have copper bottoms that are coming off!!!!
Made the calls to check with the companies. Need to get my dad to come down and take a look at the taps as I can't afford a plumber.
So need to go and get showered and ready to go and sort these things out. And if I am feeling up to it I might and that is a big might see about putting some paint on walls LOL!!!!
Everyone take care and be kind to yourself today.
Catch you later.
Yours
CalleyHope for everything and expect nothing!!!
