Its funny isn't it, you convince yourself you'll be ok if nothing happens then when nothing does happen you're not ok...

I genuinely thought I wouldn't hear back, but I thought 'that's ok' but now I've heard nothing back Im not quite ok. I guess it shows me that sadly she really isn't the person I thought she was...

  • Aw I am sorry, Oakdene. It is still early days yet and it will hurt for a while. Just remember that you have done all you could, you have been open and honest and offered compromise. There is never any need to think you didn't try. Can you try to distract yourself for a while?

Am getting so hacked off today. Have trekked to another office to meet the guy I was complaining about a few months ago (50% split of a project and he hadn't started his half). He STILL hasn't done anything, so why bother even agreeing to a meeting?! He's spent 90% of the time since I got here on the phone. Am really struggling to bite my tongue.

For future reference, do you need to bite your tongue? Not in an aggressive way, but some assertive feedback from your side as to the impact it's having on you, and the time you could be spending constructively while he's on the phone?

I have just had some assertive feedback from Nan about Gitdog.
    eta
Nan says Gitdog has been treading a very fine line between funny annoying and really peeing her off annoying.
Nan says Gitdog has spent rather more time on the wrong side off this line than she might have liked today.
Nan says when am I next working from home so she can have a day off from annoyingness:rotfl:.
I diplomatically refrained from pointing out that I told her yesterday if she let him sleep all day it would catch up with him in the end.

  • Hahahaha! What is lovely Gitdog being accused of? He is innocent I tell you!

Nan says the big dog has clearly been feeding Gitdog too many E numbers.

How are you folks coping with the current cold spell? Hibernation has its attractions.
