Calley - that is so annoying about your lodger! Can you turn the water off at the main point (????) once he exceeds a sensible showering time?! He'll soon change his ways! :p

ETA: Or convince him that beards are fashionable and he should grow one! :rotfl:

    LOL!!!

Shave in the sink like everyone else does. I had to bring him up about the downstairs loo as he seems obsessed in using it. I rarely use it has a extractor fan in there that is on its last legs and of course uses electric. He could not understand why I did not want him to use it all the time!!!!

As I said I am not saying he can shower or shave but he needs to be a bit more thoughtful about the stuff he is doing.

Anyway face is now on :rotfl:

  • OH just got made redundant, and my job is definitely on the chopping block.

I'll be in a duvet if anyone needs me.

HBS, so sorry to hear that.

I know that in your position I'd probably be hitting blind panic right now but fingers crossed it'll end up being really positive new beginnings for both of you.
  • Thanks Izadora. I'm trying to hold the panic down and succeeding so far - suspect I'll be going for a run tonight despite still feeling ill to burn off some nervous energy.

OH seems OK - he's going to try and grab some contract work if nothing permanent springs up.

Oh HBS, that's some all-round rubbish! Hope you're both ok. Any prospects in the pipeline for you?

MU - the first couple of seasons of Homeland are pretty good - although the bipolar isn't always portrayed in the best light, there are a few hints that certain traits of it make her really good at her job. It should have ended in season 3 imo. Sons of Anarchy is good too. If you haven't already seen it, I recommend Lilyhammer too.

Calley - I love Brooklyn 99. Mr CP takes the world's longest showers too. It is a bit difficult to restrict someone's shower time without coming across as a drill sergeant, especially if that person is paying rent. How about you give him a pass on the long showers as long as he pays full rent on time every month.

Elona - glad you are making progress.

Tea - sorry it's come to this with FOH. It does seem like he's totally lost the plot refusing the caution so you're doing the right thing.

I have a big blue sad today. Just woke up feeling blue. Even having a shower seemed like too much effort.
