Seen too many triggering things on Facebook this evening and now I'm a mess. I don't want to stop using it as I keep in touch with a lot of people that way, but I don't like that I can't censor what I see.
Haven't watched telly for months now due to similar problems.

Sorry, I will try and catch up and do personal replies tomorrow, just doing some melon off in the fort as I have given up on fruit and gone back to chocolate

Wait....................throwing oneself on the floor, screaming and kicking legs isn't appropriate for nearly 40yr old??.................opps!

Welly - I don't do TV, newpapers, radio, facebook etc either, I have a negative enough view of the world as it is and they do not help. ~squish for you~

Despite a useless day and re-emergence of the 5 week cold, I have managed to get a pavlova base into the oven for hubbys birthday tomorrow - yea!
  • Had a rubbish run at the gym - seem to have hit a plateau at about 3.7km-ish in half an hour-ish - and somehow my brain weasels have turned this into "your interviews will be rubbish too". Sigh!

On the plus side, little fuzzy thinks I am best human ever as I rescued her favourite tennis ball from under the coffee table haha!

  • ben - I don't want to over-promise, but you must be feeling quite alone. We are a family on here - welcome to you, as you've just discovered a new family who can talk to you and share with you even though you aren't on the mainland. (((((((()))))))

Oakdene - a friend of mine who is very 'out' about having MH problems finds that running really helps her, too, and someone posted this on her timeline :) Is this you?

Now I am freezing (at home, with fleeces and heating on) and my mood is sinking.

    These photos are beautiful:

:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

JB - lmao - fabulous image - makes me want to run - does it really do that?

HBS - Just to put your 3.7km into perspective, I can barely walk up the stairs at the moment. Clearly I am NOT the person to give exercising advice, but as for being "stuck" in a rut - try doing something different? Forget trying to breach that number and have half an hour on the rowing machine or exercise bike instead for the next 3 visits before you go back to the run.

HBS, you went to the gym and you ran! That's a fantastic achievement in itself. So you're not Mo Farah (yet!), that's not important. The hardest part is getting there in the first place and you're smashing that :D
  • Morning all. Been in the office 45 mins but struggling to get going today.

No idea why I got here so early, I can't leave early as it's my evening class later and I go straight from work. Didn't plan that very well :o

HBS - you did great! You'll get there, just keep at it. You're doing better than me, I can't even run to the shop next door without wanting to puke up a lung!

Beautiful photos WW, shall we have a team WaS trip to Japan?! :D
