    Tea - lmao - that's brilliant!
Melly - Just a good bit of practice and experience then! x
    HBS - go girl!
Ginger - please can I have some of the bravery beer you have?!
    Pyx - how you feeling?
    MU - ~squish~
Code - I think it's very hard to deal with the waiting associated with job hunting. I am always expecting them to get back to me asap as clearly they will know how much stress the wait is causing right? But I am learning that not everyone thinks like me......same problems with Uni stuff.........seems like everyone else is on a different timeframe and has very different priorities to me (DH reminds me of this when I am stressing), but I do wish people would just keep you informed of timescales and update you along the way - seems like basic courtesy to me.

    Hi Flybaby! :A

Yes, well on the mend. Still a bit chesty, but it's all clear IYSWIM!
A lovely person sent me a humidifier into which you can put essential oils, so I've been using that with rosemary and teatree oils. First day out of bed today, and feel rather tired.
I shall take things easy for a few more days.

benrben - hello and welcome . just a quick pop in I've not read through and caught up on posts .
My daughter found sitting down and putting bullet points down on paper and then working it into a description of how she was feeling and handing it to our gp on days she was struggling solved the problem of explaining and perhaps missing things out . Our doctor loves this as the appointment is then more about dealing with issues rather than trying to find what they are . Take care

Writing things down is a really good idea benrben. Even if you don't refer to it at the time, knowing it's there as a backup can help you get your thoughts into words more clearly.

I hope tomorrow goes ok for you, I'm sure that it will be a tough day no matter where you are. Are you able to find some time for yourself at the time the ceremony will be taking place? There's always someone around on here so please come and chat to us if that helps (not just tomorrow of course!)

Right - I am determined that this evening I will at least make a start on sorting the spare room out a bit. So if you lot see me on here between 6 and 8pm, tell me off! If nothing else, it will burn another few calories before tomorrow's weigh in :D

Yes, I will be around all day, as I have to wait for a faulty item to be collected. Have had no end of trouble with this.......they were supposed to come yesterday and didn't, and this whole thing has been going on since November! (I had trouble with the thing even arriving in the first place, and then found it was faulty).

Hello Benrben and welcome. Have a gentle hug. I am so sorry to hear about your dear sister, my heart goes out to you. I echo what everyone has said try writing your concerns down and handing them to your doctor, I have done this a lot. My OCD also tends to become worse after something traumatic happens, try not to panic and just see it as things feel very out of control and painful right now so your mind is trying to find some way to cling to the security of what it knows. One of my main compulsions is also touching things, I understand how that feels. We are always here to listen as much for as you need us to do so.

Tea your job interview story made me burst out laughing! It's hilarious!

Little penguin to tea- As everyone else has said you have no reason to feel guilt at all. A slightly different perspective is when we are desperate we can pretend to ourselves that we have more in common with than we do. It's quite possible that FOH will find he has no interest in the church once he stops obsessing over you. I remember dating someone into hardcore punk and I went from hating it to loving it while I was with him and after we split up I went back to wondering what I had ever seen in it. I convinced myself it was wonderful because of my feelings towards him, in reality I didn't like it at all. FOH may be doing exactly the same thing with his sudden interest in the church especially as he is so unstable right now, so you really don't have any reason to feel guilty at all. end penguin.

Oakdene that is incredible! I can't run two yards! Exercise is brilliant for releasing happy chemicals so it is a great idea. Things will begin to feel a little easier soon, take it day by day. In a way you are suffering grief for what could have been, be gentle to yourself.

So Glad you are feeling better MU. It honestly wasn't your fault at all Swains mum is probably feeling horrified now she is sleepy and grumpy.

Put it down to experience, Melly! There are lots of eggs in your basket and you are clearly very good at what you do.

    Brilliant, HBS!

Code, the waiting is just horrible. So sorry you are having to go through this.

My small victory of the day is free chocolate! WaSp doesn't really like chocolate so I buy him bars from a tiny company in Birmingham who sell the only type he likes. Five bars last him 6 months so we don't order often. Today the owner of the shop emailed me to say he was sending 5 assorted free bars of Montezuma's chocolate with my order because the date runs out tomorrow and he isn't allowed to sell them. That made my day, it certainly won't take me 6 months to eat!

    Hi all!

Feels like forever since I've been on, will do some catching up tomorrow with the thread.

Just found out I earn too much for financial assistance for uni so I have to find just over a grand in 6 weeks, nice of them to give me plenty of notice (they've known since october 2015). I've got half a bathroom (well a bath and a loo) due to some serious bodging by whoever put the last bathroom in that we ripped out.

My anxiety is not great at the moment, although I did make it to the tip yesterday with my mum. Still on the waiting list for CAT, its been three months now...they said 6 weeks.

tea penguin you have nothing to feel bad about as others have said. If and it's a big if he really does genuinely have an interest in church that in no way detracts from his prevous behaviour. Christians aren't meant to be doormats. end penguin.

Benbren - that's hard. Take card

Argh, how annoying Dom! That is a lot of money to find quickly! Other than the bathroom is the new house everything you hoped for? Hope that you are settling in now the rush of Christmas is over.
