What is sorted - a little cartoony hedgehog thing my dad draws on everything. No idea where it came from, or why we've always called it sniff! He used to draw it for us when we were little and I still find it around the place. He fed p cat a couple of days ago and he'd drawn it on a note I left him in the kitchen
Where is more tricky - am thinking maybe inside my wrist. It would only be quite small. But my mum will go mad wherever it is (even though I am nearly 40).0 -
Morning Shipmates,
What dull and dreary day here. I am sat in the hallway at the moment with my lappy to spend some time with phoebe but she has run in to her little hidy hole in her cage.
Mind you she manged to get up on top of her cage the other day. No idea how. She still does not like being stroked. I offer her my hand she sniffs it then backs away. This morning I tried to stroke her and she backed away. Oh well it will take time. it took 6 months for my husbands cockateil to get really soppy with him. Now he thinks he is a parrot as he flies out and lands on my husbands shoulder LOL!!!Georgiegirl256 wrote: »Ooo what? And where? Tea.
Thats a bit personal :rotfl:
No real plans for today just a bit of tidying up here and there. Not a huge amount to do as I don't seem to be making so much mess and tidying up before it gets to bad.
Still got some xmas presents to put away. Did I say I got not one but two colouring books and pencils. Might sneak a little colouring in session in a min :rotfl:
And spent all my money for next week as week. Starting to take cash out once a week. I did buy some food this morning. And just other bits and pieces. None were urgent but useful.
Anyway my back is killing me. So need to make a move.
Hugs, squishes and handshakes to all that need them.
Catch you all later byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for now.
Yours

Welly, for what it's worth, I feel that the person who should know you did the work is the Manager that congratulated your colleague.
However, what might be diplomatic is to have a word with your colleague spell out how much work you did, and ask her to explain this to the manager.
If she doesn't, or won't, then maybe you should speak to him yourself.
This isn't just a small incident of a doing a small favour for someone.... It sounds like you put a lot of time and effort into the work and that shouldn't go unrecognised. :A(I just lurve spiders!)

That's so adorable tea!
Quite spooky infact as a hedgehog was one of the ideas I thought about for a tattoo in memory of my Dad, because he absolutely loved hedgehogs too! He had one as a pet when he was little and every since I was small and found out about it, I would buy him hedgehog soft toys/figurines/etc. Ever since he passed, my Mam has become obsessed with them and even got a hedgehog door knocker.
I think inside your wrist sounds like a good idea, because you could still cover it up with a watch or chunky bracelet if you needed to.
My Mam (and my Dad) really don't like tattoos, so I just bit the bullet and showed them straight away. They were like "well you've done it now, so there's nothing we can say really" :rotfl: It's on the top of my back and it was summer, so I wasn't going to keep on wearing cardigans!
Eta: Just remembered the hedgehogs name (it was bugging me!), it was Munchy....which of course has now made me want a pack of Munchies!0 -
Aww Georgie, that is all lovely!
I now also want munchiesWill someone please make me go and do flute practice, have been putting it off all week.

Loving the tatts I am getting a cover up of my arm band another dad one this one is sea horse and sea weed (because the mermaid I would really like I can't draw or find. It's basically a 70s mermaid that my dad had on his forearm)0 -
