It would probably stay yellow just lighter.

I've also just seen a tattoo design I may get for my dad when the time comes.

I guess it depends how big a mermaid tattoo you fancy code? I think they look good down people's sides. Only problem with that is that it would hurt like a b*gger! :eek:

I've also toyed with the idea of getting a pea pod tattoo as in 'like two peas in a pod' for my Dad as that's what everyone always used to say about us. Trouble is, a lot of them can look quite cartoony, and also green isn't one of my favourite colours. I did see a nice B&W one once

With the mermaid, the crow (for my dad) and the footprints, I need to find space for 3 tattoos. i don't want anywhere too visible, don't want a tramp stamp and don't want any on my legs. My existing one is on my hip bone at the front.

I got the first one for dad at the top of my spine Georgie it's hidden under my hair (good dad hated my tattoos and piercings lol) but I know it's there.

Totally. It isn't the design or anything like that I'm worried about, rather that it would just upset me everytime I looked at it because I'd remember (not that I ever forget) what I'm missing. I'd like to look at it (whatever design I got) and smile and think happy thoughts, but I'm not sure if I could at the moment.

The footprints would look good on your foot perhaps?
