Don't know why you lot are fretting about bags of crisps. I've just fallen headfirst into a bottle of wine.
And a large box of roses.
Parent is on a diet so has donated all her surplus wine, chocolate, mince pies and after eights in this direction. I'm not worried about my weight. But there's very little of my 5 a day in that lot.
Hold on - wine is definitely made of fruit! And roses are sort of veg, aren't they? And mince pies have fruit as well....... So your only problem is the after eights - but it sounds from the other things as if you are probably eating them after 8 of your 5 a day, so they are allowed.
I can't keep up with this thread, but well done tea, sounds as if things are actually moving in the right direction. melly needs to run a masterclass in getting interviews. Hope things ease up, WW! Pyxis, how is your am dram? Has your nasty piece of work actually left?
Fresh squishes in the cupboard, healthy snacks and wine in the fort, see you all there! xxxxxEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
MELLY - both soup and porridge are my go to when I can't summon up much energy also tinned rice pudding . Look after yourself.

Evening My Shipmates,
I think I need to join in with the weight loss stuff. Mind you today I had something to eat at 5ish just been busy was chicken and veg. Then nipped around the local little tescos and got 2 packets of Pain du Chocolate for 8p and two packs of rolls for 10p each. I pack of the pain I gave to my lodger to take to work tomorrow . I had one, he had one and then the last 2 and the packets of rolls in the freezer.
Melly something is better than nothing. You know as well as I do keep nagging or going on about it makes it worse. Just eat what you can when you can.
Tea I am so sorry. Shame the house is mortgaged as you could have moved. Keep strong and nothing wrong with a portion of chips. Tomorrow is another day.
And to everyone else hugs, handshakes and squishes.
I have done something very silly I have gone back on POF LOL!!! I wont hold my breath.
Yours
CalleyHope for everything and expect nothing!!!

I took Little Sod an extra walk this evening as a little healthy thing for that. Also had decaf coffee instead of normal. I am drinking wine now though!0

Tinned rice pudding - my default poorly food of choice. My grandmother's used to be trifle.
Last night's training class: "you are going to bring him to heel, take the lead off, tell him to stay, walk away, call him to heel while you keep walking, then turn left with him still at heel, put him in a down, walk round him, then continue walking with him still at heel."
I roll around the floor hysterically at the thought of any part of this happening in a room full of dogs, let alone the whole sequence.
And Gitdog? He gives a disgusted look at my lack of faith and performs beautifully. Admittedly sauntering along at half speed, not exactly giving it his all. But he does it. I am still gobsmacked.
(Although I do feel obliged to point out that the chances of this happening outside the confines of the training room are about the same as hitting the jackpot on the lottery.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I have practised some of my exercises when I got home. We had our first meal tonight from the box. I knew it would be good but actually it was really lovely and very easy. Then littlewing got jam tarts and I got given an activia yoghurt.
I see The Voice starts tomorrow. I like that.
14 pages, tea! Did you actually read it? "Police baby" makes me laugh.
Hello to everyone. Once I log in I forget everything I was going to say.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Well done Gitdog!
Could it be because you assumed he wouldn't do it that you relaxed and didn't try too hard? I always find with Little Sod, the more I try with something the worse he gets.
He's spent the afternoon licking Escapettes feet, which she finds hilarious. I wasn't sure if I should stop that sort of behaviour or not but they both seemed to be having a lot of fun!
Someone at my new job has claimed all the credit for some work I have put a lot of effort in to and spent ages on. It's something she was supposed to have done months ago. Do I let it go, or make people aware that it was actually me? I don't want to seem bitter, even though I feel it!0 -
WOW to Gitdog - see he's just having a laugh ! he could win crufts if he wanted to .:rotfl:
Hi Ww hope you're well . Like you I struggle to remember posts . I seem to follow very fast moving threads !

Oh these dogs do make me laugh!0

If it were me, I'd try to find a way to make them aware it was you, without coming over all stroppy.
Little Sod and Escapette sound really cute together - anything that keeps them amused has to be good.....maybe not quite anything..........contemplates the damage that could be done by a naughty dog/child combo......All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
