There was talk that people might get phone calls this week sometime. Basically it'll be "can you travel to the nearest office?", if yes then you still have a job and if no (in D's case) then you're out of a job.

I think most of the managers have gone now, and the ones that are left don't know anybody in D's team or have a clue what they do. It's a total mess.

It sounds it! Really hope he hears something soon, even if it's not the best news. Think it's the not knowing that really takes its toll on the nerves.

The reason I started learning Italian was the week I was there around my brother's wedding, I liked the place and the people so much I decided to have lessons so I could go back, though I've only done so once.

I just changed my airbnb search from last week in April to next week due to a massive work related stress (and the source of my current sleep problems) flaring up spectacularly again this week. I wouldn't actually just disappear, but it's a nice thought!

Exactly. I'd rather know what was happening. He's been on the phone all day, I'm trying to ignore it for now as it's stressing me out.

Poor D. It's rubbish when companies just leave their employees hanging. They should know the details before they tell people otherwise it just causes stress and worry.

Totally agree code. I don't think anybody knows what's going on. Hopefully he'll have some more news when he comes down.

Yes, probably. I still like it and would buy them again, but just think at the moment I just need to sit in silence. Me heads battered as we say oop North!
