Ok. I spoke to them. They like me but not sure if they want me on their team or a different one. Also someone else is looking for long term consultants which is way more money but less security.

Long-term consultancy! Yey! Sounds brill! Presumably if the contract is a long one, that's reasonably secure? And could be soooooo interesting! When looking at the money, presumably you'd be self-employed so would need to factor in NI., pension contributions, accountant fees etc., but wahay! Independence! All depends on the contract terms, though.

Indeed Pyxis. I am put off a bit because of my health condition because it would mean losing money or trying to work through the pain.

I'm not sure tea. I think I'm probably more suited to the other team but it depends what they're offering really.

Maybe the benefits of employment (in terms of security, sick pay) etc. outweigh the increased income you'd have from consultancy.

Yup. The trouble with the agency contact is that he's so bubbly and enthusiastic that I find myself agreeing to stuff and then I get off the phone wondering what the hell I said yes for. :rotfl:
