Loads. I was on dating sites for 3 years. I had 3 relationships from them and went back to online dating in between. Had some horror stories too. Think I kept my friends afloat in dinner party conversations for a while. This woman joined a team I support and I worked out I had been in contact with her son through online dating. I haven't mentioned it to her and am not sure if she knows but she did work for the company at the time.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

I'm really struggling to find local people, even though I'm in a fair-sized town in the middle of the country. Most people that are even remotely a match in terms of what I'm looking for are pretty much an hour away (like Mr HL). Maybe I need to move to a big city!0

Also, one time I was surfing through the men and came across the dating profile of the guy who sat opposite me at work. Another time, I found my brother's profile. :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Or date people in the city. An hour isn't so bad. Also has the bonus of restricting date frequency so you still get loads of you time.
Have you heard anymore from Mr HL?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Glad he is OK Code. I wish Little Sod would do sedate sniffing! He usually re-injures himself the first walk we go on as he bounces around like a mad thing.
Just booked a dentist appointment for two months time. I'm terrified!0 -
At least it will be free, welly. That helps.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

WW, cranial osteopath is a good idea. Make sure they're on the General Osteopathic Council register, though. (It's a State Register).
Tea...Yey! Go girl! Ask him for a coffee! You're not asking him to get married, after all! If he says no, or dithers, then you'll know! If he says yes, take it from there! This is 2016 not 1916, and it's only a coffee and a chat!
Re the coil, I had one fitted in the 70s, and can't remember anything untoward about the procedure. I don't think it hurt, else I'd have remembered
The trouble is, with teeth and nether regions, the thought of it is often worse than the actuality.
Code, my dog did something like that once. She jumped up, yelped and couldn't weightbear on that leg. The vet said she'd probably pulled a muscle, but it could also have been the start of wear in the joint. I can't remember how old she was.
I do know that at some time or other she did start getting stiff, so I gave her glucosamine tablets, and she improved a lot. No placebo effect there!
Just watched my recording of Beowulf.
Hmm. "The Last Kingdom" it ain't. No man-buns for one thing, and some of the hairstyles are a bit too slick, the faces too clean, and the cliches have already started. Still, the CGIs are good, and I'll give it time.
There was a production of Beowulf not that long ago, really based on the poem, either BBC2 or BBC4, and that was very good, if a bit highbrow. This is a bit more Lord of the Rings but not as good, so far anyway.
Bring back the Danes, I say!
Oooh! Just had a thought! Who's for a group trip to Denmark?(I just lurve spiders!)

DA likes sniffing. The problem comes if he sees a squirrel, rabbit or a cat before I do and goes after them (he likes cats and wants to say hello but the cats don't know that), or we come across a muddy puddle of river that he'll launch himself in as he's a mix of two gundogs and thus, water is irresistible to him or he finds another friendly dog to bounce around with.
Ooh thanks for the reminder. I've needed to book a dentist appointment for a year and haven't got there. It's probably not open today though.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Just genuinely don't know how I'd fit that in. I get home about 6pm (on the days I'm in the local office, at least once a week I'm away somewhere and get home at 8 or later). I've also got evening commitments for 2-3 days a week. So adding in a couple of hours round trip for a quick drink just starts looking unfeasible once everyone's back at work.
We were last in contact on Sat when there was a short-ish flirty text chat in the evening. He contacted me last (not that I'm keeping count or anything sad like that!) so I guess that leaves the door open for me to get in touch later in the week. For all I know he might be obsessively staring at his phone wondering why I haven't replied yet :rotfl:, or he might be a normal person with actual perspective on these things!
