  • Whitewing, you are a genius! Well done for remembering she's a size 8! That is perfect and colourful enough that she can see the print. I have bought it, thank you!

  • MU take a pair of flats in your bag for the drunken part of the evening. I have a pair of black ballet shoes for that purpose. Saved my poor feet at that wedding when we stood around from 2pm- 6pm with nowhere to sit down.

I am feeling flat and beige again.

I saw a Christmas tree in Lisbon on Wednesday.

Very good idea! I shall remember to take some flats with me :)

Has anything happened to make you feel like this? Or is it a general feeling of flatness? I don't see you or anyone on this thread as beige, to me you're all multicolored and glittery awesomeness.

A Christmas tree? they must be either very keen to begin celebrations! Or do they celebrate earlier (I think some countries do?)

  • I think I have told you before code that I see words in colours? Codemonkey has always been a bright, sky blue to me, not beige at all! Have a hug, hope you feel a little better tomorrow.

  • Think its just post-holiday bleurgh. Back at work in a few days to a job I hate, it's cold here and nobody is bringing me food, cocktails, or making my bed up with fresh sheets everyday.

Thank you WaS. I love sky blue. You remain purple and sparkly.

It can be hard to adjust when you've been on holiday, it a very different feeling to being back home and being back to work and stuff. Hopefully in a wweek or so you'll have adjusted. To be honest, holidays are great, but i think i'd probably get bored quickly if i was on holiday all the time, because it would become a norm, thats why holidays are good cos they are a break from normal life. For example, i do love christmas, but if it was christmas everyday it wouldn't feel special or like a break.

Not sure where i'm going with this, just want you to kno ist completely normal to feel like you do, and it will pass.

Hopefully not too long after moving!

I've got a crazy busy few weeks in October so I'll have to make an effort to get all the girls round!!
