I just googled 'welcome' or 'come in' or something, and found it!
Katy, don't worry about feeling awful! I felt horrible after my first, and just went through the motions for a few weeks.
It sound like you've prepared Little Sod really well! The vest with escapee smell on it sounds like a very good idea, and you could leave it in his cage too!
5 days over doesn't sound too bad.
Unless the head's getting big or there's some other reason, they're probably not too fussed.
In any event, if they want to do one, make sure you ask lots iof questions as to why, and even get a second opinion. You're entitled.
Some hospitals have a more rigorous induction policy than others.
I went 12 days over before they started muttering about induction, and that's when the doctor gave me the laxative or enema or whatever it was thing. Whether or not it was that I don't know, but I started that very night!
Georgieyou don't have to talk about mental health. Sometimes it's nice to have general chit-chat, even when you're feeling !!!!!!! as it helps to keep you grounded and to take your mind off things a bit. There's been some really good and interesting info posted on here which is nothing to do with MH!
So even if you just chat, you're still contributing!

Big gentle hugs welly. What you describe are totally reasonable feelings. You are tired, your body is tired, a huge change could happen any second and your hormones are in chaos. Of course you feel low right now! Please don't think everyone bonds with a baby right away, it is a bit of a romantic myth. My friend who was a tiny, little woman gave birth to a 9 pound baby who had to be induced and all she wanted to do was sleep afterwards! She admits she smiled and cooed for her husband and the staff but all she thought was please take her off to sleep so I can rest, I feel like I have had the biggest poo ever! It took her a month before she felt anything for her daughter other than blind panic that she was in charge of a new life and wondering if she could sleep yet? That is very a common response, having a baby doesn't turn someone into super mother, you are still an individual with very real needs and often an exhausted one!
Georgie you are always, always welcome here. You don't have to be in a crisis or anything, we just love having you as part of our thread. Please don't feel that you can't post for any reason, you are part of the team!
A very small, good thing happened. Last night for the first time since I became ill with the stomach thing I tried dinner. A small amount of boiled potato, some green beans and some grilled chicken breast. I didn't get sick! It sounds like nothing but it is the first time in three weeks that I have been able to keep down a rounded meal. one good thing about not being well. I might loose some weight.
Still feeling queasy. All I have had today to eat is an apple and a bowl of instant mash.
And I have not got dressed and only been off the sofa for a wee and to make a drink and get something to eat.
So save some money as well as no binge eating either.
My dress has arrived in store. Got 14 days to collect it.

I hope I didn't pass you the lurgy, Calley!
The weightloss is about the only thing that cheered me up from this whole episode. I have gone down a dress size without any effort at all.
Bet you can't wait to get your lovely dress, it's so pretty! At least you can wait until you feel better before you collect it. Are you drinking lots and lots of water? Hot water bottle on your tummy, maybe?
Oh and Hello, JM's friend if you happen to stop by! Feel free to hover as much as you want or post if you wish. You are very welcome here!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

No you did not. I have been told that we can't pass stuff on in the fort. I thought it was due to binge eating last night. As I ate to much. But as I still have it today it can't be.
No idea what or how I got it. Never mind it will pass in a day or two. Might be I never got rid of the wee infection!
A few days with not a lot of food will not hurt me.
Yes I can't wait to collect it and try it on.

Hi all!
Hope you're all doing ok!
Just thought I'd check in! Went to see my new house again yesterday.. Very excited!
I've got a key now so they said I can move my stuff in as and when I like!
Ex still hasn't collected his things. I'm considering dumping it in his mums garden.

Midwife made me feel a bit better and gave me some information to read. Hubby is going to read it first and then see if it's something I should read or not.
Induction is booked for Friday next week so got a week to try for virtual cake!
Thanks for all your help today everyone, it really means a lot x0
