  • How can it be that I can drop money like water on presents for other people, but I've found a lovely little trip that I want to do (for under £100) and I can't bring myself to book it??

  • Morning all!

Well done on the weight loss, MU!

I have never tried venison, ono, let me know what it's like please!

Now relax and sleep, Melly. Everything else can wait, it's time to take care of you. Have a hug.

I am picturing you with a black t-shirt with silver glittery writing on it saying "Sad..Do one!", Code.

Doooooooooooo it HBS! Do it so that you can tell me what it was like and show me a photo!

How are you feeling, Pyxis? Any better? Have a hug.

Today I shall be researching tiredness and psychosis. For me, this is getting worse. If I am tired if I don't go to bed straight away first the intrusive thoughts start, then I hear my mother screaming and laughing at me. Then I hear radio's playing, voices insulting me and then I can't actually sleep for the noise which means curling up in a ball with my hands over my ears panicking in misery. There is a 30 minute window for me to go to sleep in before everything kicks in which obviously severely compromises my functioning because I just can't allow myself to stay awake no matter what time of day it is. As soon as I sleep for a few hours I am fine again as if nothing happened. I need to find why this happens and possible ways around it...

HBS, make it your christmas present to the thread then. We get inspired when people do things they don't normally do.

You sound a lot happier Calley, it's nice

    Thank you Welly.

Sounds like you need a good nights sleep. how are you coping with being back to work and leaving the little one? Very hard I imagine.

Melly, I hope that gets some much needed rest. At the moment you are first and only priority I know that is hard as you have your OH who is not well. But if you are not well you can't support him.

HBS, do it. As has already been said Christmas Present to yourself. Enjoy.

Well my lovelies looks like I need another trip to the dr's :( not mental health issues but physical ones. I seem to be getting a lot of pain in my left hip. And its getting worse. Been going on for weeks now. I put it down to the bed. But if I sit down for to long it hurts when I get up. Having problems now walking up straight and now having issues wiping my own bum!!!! Yes I know TMI :rotfl:

Hugs, squishes and handshakes to all. Forgot to say i loved JM idea.

    Yours

    Calley

Oooh what's the trip HBS? I definitely agree that you should do it as a gift to the thread! :)

Well done on the weight loss MU! :T How has work been recently?

  • I did it! I did it!

It's a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in two weeks time! I am so very excited now!

OH says he will give me some money to buy myself a present, and Mum says to choose something to bring back that she can wrap up for me :)

I might get a little tearful as Dad loved HP as much as me, but I know he'll be there with me in my heart :)

Merry (early) Christmas Team WaS - and thankyou :D

He will be HBS :) I wonder if they'll sell HP Christmas decorations such as baubles? If so, you could get one for your tree (or wherever) in his memory.

I'm not a HP fan, never read any of he books, but nevertheless, the tour sounds awesome! Have a brilliant time!
  • YAY! Well done HBS, that is wonderful! I have always wanted to visit there, you must tell me how it goes, please? I am so excited for you!

So sorry to hear about your hip, Calley. My aches and pains get much worse when it's cold and wet so I do sympathise. I find physio exercises help a lot with my hips, hopefully they can find some to help you. Do get it checked out though because I was taught that if we let things like that go we can make it worse by holding ourselves in strange positions to stop the pain resulting in pulling muscles. Have a gentle hug.

  • Oh a bauble is a great idea! Thanks Georgie!

WaS - of course I will! If I can get photos and things I will get as many as possible and do a full review :)
