Could definitely do with some headphones here too to block out the annoying "constantly talking to herself" woman. I know we all talk to the computer at times (right??) but it's been a couple of hours now and she's still muttering away to herself. It would actually be less annoying if it was louder.

Good luck with the flu jab GG. They do them so quickly once you're in there you won't have time to get nervous! I've never seen the Walking Dead which is a shame as it seems like my sort of thing. Anyone else watching The Returned? I am SO over-excited about the final tomorrow - how sad is that?!

I am usually called upon to fix my friends and relatives dodgy computers

Tell me about it! I've now installed teamviewer on my mother's computer so when she rings me up I don't have to rely on a description of the contents of the screen given over the phone.

Last time I visited them I ended up talking one of her friends from the bowls club through upgrading to Windows 10 over the phone

  • I've had them for years now tea and they don't usually bother me, and I know it's only a small !!!!! (:p) maybe I'm just turning into a big wimp?!

I've never watched the walking dead either. The bits I've seen of it look good though. The Returned, I've never watched that either, but it could be something else D watches?

That would drive me mad with the constant muttering! I'd probably be like "speak up love I can quite hear you?!" :p

    Yes.

Usually it's "Why???????" or "Don't do that!" coming from me.

And if you are, we want photos! :p

You should hear the things that come out of D's mouth! Usually something like "you bleeping piece of bleep!"

Can you go straight to your GP and get an emergency appointment?

It is what I did several months ago when I used much the same words.

melly, I second going to the doctor.

Or does you work have one of those employee helpline things that you can ring to get you through temporarily?
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • Go to the docs, Melly. Or a walk-in centre. Or call a Talking Therapies emergency line if you have one. Big hugs.

My thumb is OK but still very sore, I have a brace on it. Gold star to my docs though - the bloods they took yesterday came back today. I have to have one test redone next week as it's a bit odd but I seem otherwise OK. (It's a kidney function one)
