Was terrified tea. I hate talking on the phone. But I figured I couldn't afford to alienate the biggest agency for the work I do by ignoring them just because I'm a big wuss who doesn't want to make a decision. Also, if I do get this job (which I probably won't because I interview horribly!), I will add some experience that will look good if I decide to work as a consultant.

Wireless charging not working. Not sure if it's cause the output isn't good enough from my computer or its the weird shape of the phone. I like it so far as it's shiny and new. But I also feel sorry for my old phone, like I'm abandoning it!

Not just me that gets weirdly attached to things then?! :rotfl: I've been meaning to throw out a v knackered pair of slippers for ages but I can't quite bring myself to do it!

I've just looked at the weather for the next few days - wish I hadn't! Thermals at the ready...

I get oddly attached to things too, I have my last few phones lurking in a drawer because I can't let them go!

Well done on getting in touch with the agency Code, very brave! Hope good things come from it. :)

I do the same thing Birdie, although it came in handy when my last (before this broken one) phone was sent for repairs and the loaner phone was from 2001. Popped my sim into my old htc and I was away. Would have done that this time, only the older phone doesn't charge anymore.

Also have old keys (why?) and a random box of wires (just in case) and 2 old e-readers.

  • Another one here who gets so attached to things and then feels bad if I have to let them go. I've also got a pair of old slippers knocking about, I've repurposed them to be my "outdoor slippers", I've got nearly all my old phones, which do actually work, so they're emergency phones, and I won't tell you what else I've kept!

SJ, hmm  There could be a money making opportunity there!
  • eeeeew! Does anyone else suspect that only a foot fetishist would pay £15 for an old pair of slippers? (Reminds me of Orange is the New Black :D)
    PS Well done code! xxxx
