Its my little secret. Only been wearing them for about three and and half years. Two of my suspender belts were £30 each  but oh so comfy and a such a small price as at one stage I was wearing them 5/6 days a week.

Pyxis, sounds like you are having a nice time. sadly the weather never got any better here.
Was misty and cold. I even put the heating on this afternoon. Even though the heating system is a big pile of poo.

Promise to leave the mini-bar alone Pyxis! I would just be pointing out of the window like a child and squealing"Water!!!!!"
I also find stockings a lot more comfortable, Calley. Tights always make me feel restricted plus I ladder them constantly. It is so much cheaper for me to use stockings and just grab a new one.
Aw, I would make you eggnog, Whitewing! It is quite easy to make, it is just the egg white whisking that takes a while but it is even faster if you have a machine to do it for you. Fresh eggnog doesn't keep for very long though so it is an idea to drink it as fast as possible, I have never found that to be a problem! Obviously avoid it if pregnant or you have an immune system problem related to stomach disorders as the main ingredient is raw egg.
I do really like baking and I miss it. I am going to make a Christmas cake this year, it just means WaSp has to do the oven bit and check I am keeping the measurements right. I have spare eggs and many bananas here right now so I am contemplating banana bread once the pie mountain has gone down a bit! I would bake more often but it's a pain for WaSp because he isn't a fan of cooking at all and he has to learn each recipe in case my memory goes to pot halfway through.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Can't you put something like wipe clean plastic over the page WaS and tick the items off as you go through the recipe? Then WaSp would only be needed for the oven.

Hello katsu! That is actually a good idea! I have tried lists before but as I cross out as I go it meant a new list each time and I tend to have to rewrite lists several times because I miss words out due to memory problems. I never thought of using a plastic sheet over them and using that to tick things off! Thank you!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I am bigger girl so find tights a right pain in the bum. For many years I got so fat that I would wear leggings.
But since loosing a bit of weight. I started to wear skirts and stockings and heels. And jeans. It made me feel better about myself. Funny it only started after me and my husband split. Think I wanted to re-invent myself after being a carer for so long.
I did nearly have a Marilyn moment a couple of years ago and our postie at work nearly had a eyeful :rotfl:

Or you could laminate all your favs which means they wipe clean and you get to keep them.

Also a good idea, Calley! Why didn't I ever think of things like this? Honestly for me to make a list of ingredients to take with me to the kitchen just makes me want to jump out the window each time. I can read 130gms of sugar and I will write 170gms of flour instead two seconds later, I just can't hold the information in my head so it involves lots of rewrites and frustration. I tried taking the laptop with me to the kitchen but I need to cross things off as I go because I repeat ingredients accidentally. Permanent lists would save me!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
