  • Oh, great news on the iPAD! What a relief!

Do stay snuggled up under the duvet today. Whenever I get a chest infection the catarrh tends to go on for weeks afterwards, I sympathise totally. Have you tried steaming your face? The old fashioned towel over your head whilst leaning over a bowl of hot water? Sometimes that helps me more than medication does. Lots and lots of water is supposed to help, too. Anything that thins it down.

Gitdog barked almost continually when he first landed as it was the only way he knew to get attention. He soon learned it didn't get him anywhere in this house so I now just get the occasional tantrum when he doesn't get his own way.
Parent is a far softer touch and in her abode he has a fine range of vocalisations to cover 1) where's my porridge 2) I'm too hot/in a draught - please open/close the conservatory door 3) why is this radiator not on 4) this dinner is insufficient, kindly supply more and 5) why are you reading the paper instead of playing with me?
He is, however, oblivious to the door bell, passers by and unusual noises so makes a completely useless guard dog. :)

Edit - everyone aware the clocks change tonight?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Hahaha! I love Gitdog! Selective barking, how wonderful. What award is he going for next? I can imagine a group of displayed certificates on the mantelpiece with Gitdog sitting proudly beneath them.

Oooh, thank you! I had forgotten about the clocks changing! There was a disaster when I was working when the clocks were meant to go forward and instead I put them back so ended up 2 hours late on shift, thus missing an important staff meeting that I was supposed to be chairing that was also attended by the company director. Not my best moment.

No WaS she came part of the reason was to see if I've caught it (I haven't, or if I'm pandering to much so making him worse again nope).
She was nice, agrees it centres around his belief that people leave if the rituals aren't done and leave when they can't cope with the rituals.
She's doing a move us supporting letter.

Sleep didn't happen but Boo and Froo had a lovely comfy snooze so that was good.

Blonde redone and new shampoo and intensive conditioner used hair is really shiny.

If it's just brain damage and is as now it's livable with.
  • Aw, Melly I know how OH feels. I used to be exactly the same with my OCD, I would undertake so many rituals because I thought bad things would happen or people would leave me if I didn't, then panic at the same time that no one would want to stay with me because of the rituals, so I did them even more. It is a horrid cycle to get into and feels totally soul-destroying. I am glad that the visit went well. Remember to take care of you, too!

    Evening my Lovelies,

I have been reading just not been up to posting. Just so worn out and now got the lurgy. Hugs, squishes, and handshakes for all that need them.

I feel so low tonight. Work even though only 9-5 M-F has worn me out. Think its having to use my brain LOL!!!

I gained a load of weight last week that has hardly shifted this week. So that dress was a waste of money. Have 4 weeks to tomorrow to loose the weight. Well that ain't going to happen. I did have a large portion of chips for tea £2.70!!!!!!

Not sure if was not feeling well or just my anxiety that I think I am doing the job wrong kicking in, slept like crap on thursday night and left work at 1pm yesterday. As felt so awful.

Feel so lonely as well. Someone I have been chatting to for a couple of weeks suggested for the second time to meet up. When I told him my working hrs that was a problem for him. So as nicely as I could, I said don't bother as its obvious you don't have the time.

My pet sitting duties are nearly over. Being picked up tomorrow. And they are still all alive so that good LOL!!! The rabbit has been put in the hall as driving me mad with his chewing the bars LOL!!! As not in the mood.

My male friend who is in love with me has messaged me twice this week. I have not replied. just lying low on that one for the time being.

Wake up with a bad back and hip every morning. So things are not brilliant at the moment. But I am still alive and will be getting paid next friday yeah!!!!

    Yours

    Calley
