I am feeling utterly crap. I feel wiped out and I just want to curl into a ball and not deal with anyone or anything. Dont even have the energy to cry. Hmm, as I have a massive headache, I feel dizzy and hot and cold and I just want to sleep, I'm guessing I'm fighting off a virus. Don't worry. I am wearing a hazmat suit in the fort.

I have loads to do this weekend - I wanted to get my nice newly renovated room back together and put shelves up, hang curtains etc. We also need to go and buy a new carpet and paint for phase 2 of work.

I forced myself to go out at lunchtime and get some wool to finish the blanket I'm crocheting. It's the first time I've ever made something that isn't a scarf so it's a bit rubbish bit I'm determined to finish. If it's too rubbish to use at home I'll send it to the rescue place where we got DA dog as they always want blankets and towels.
Sorry you're not feeling well code, it's horrible when you're run down but have loads of stuff you need to do *hazmat hugs* *brings you some soup*

    Hope you're feeling better soon

My Halloween outfit planning has basically gone down the route of zombie cowgirl. Simply because I already have a checkered shirt and boots so I only need to buy a hat and some zombie make up :p it's a cheap option but I didn't want to pay out loads and im working everyday bar Tuesday (and the weekend) next week so I don't have time to put anyhongb better together.

Ooh Swains family have invited me to spend christmas with them, problem is I can either go there or go my my parents. I can't do both. I guess ive spent the past 28 years at home, and I think my mum would understand that this day would come at some point (only with me though as my siblings are all single and don't seem to ever have bf/gf!). I was thinking I could go see my family the week before and skype them on the day? Oh and apparently I'm also getting my own house key for Swains  he told me the other day im a part of the family :)

  • Gentle hugs, code. It does sounds as if you are coming down with something, you need lots of warm drinks and DA dog cuddles. I envy your crocheting, I have always wanted to learn. I was put off by my attempts at knitting which were an utter disaster.

I want to see the outfit MU! Awww, that is so lovely that swain is giving you a key, part of the family indeed! I think seeing your family a week beforehand is fine, you could have two celebrations!

Sadly I'm in the office today so no DA dog cuddles til I get home. It's a pity as we have naps together when I'm at home. He now knows the word nap is a command to let me lie down and then curl up behind me for cuddles and sleeps.

WaS - I find crocheting easier than knitting as you have one hook to control and that makes it hard to do it really tightly. Also it builds up faster than knitting.

MU - yay for Swain keys and possible Christmas at the inlaws. Your costume sounds cool.

  • Hugs to you Code! And MU, a key! Yay!

Am going to ask a slightly silly question here, for fear of being laughed at elsewhere.

I don't understand Spotify. Can anyone help me? I want to use it for running but it just doesn't make sense :(
