The format's all wrong, if you want my viewership you need to turn up with Sean Kelly and have the angries bid until they feel they've reached what the house is worth to them, then let the vendor decide if they will accept the offer. It's almost certain they will, because reasons. Can't let any non HPC idiots into the bidding scrum though. They might grossly over estimate what the house is worth to them and win the auction.

Not just for HPC, it would work for here and other forums too, but whether is would appeal to a wider audience is another matter. The comedy theme could not only be the absolute nutters behaving strangely. But also showing the contrast between the actual lives of some posters and their forum portrayed lives.

It wouldn't have to be just about houses, there could be many angles to exploit, for example, imagine someone who posts confidently about their sexual conquests, boasting to another poster, saying that they should get out more and date more women. But in real life that poster (the one being boasted to) is having an affair with the boaster's wife.

There are thousands of people posting in HPC with even more logging on, here on MSE you only have about half a dozen who post on a daily basis with at least one just making it all up.

Whatever concerns me as usual is landlords saying "what would she see in a renter", shows their attitude towards their tenants. Also gives an inclination how they see themselves when in reality they are just fat little bald men with no friends married to a Thai/Vietnamese mail order bride.

I think there should be another thread to take the micky of those landlords on MSE who take the time to make multiple user accounts to demonize people who just want affordable housing.

You know who you are.



How dare people want to get the chance to buy their first home at affordable prices. We need to keep the housing bubble inflated massively so greedy over leveraged landlords don't go bankrupt and renters are kept renting forever. Quick make 5 new accounts landlords, this is a call to arms. No make 20 accounts and bully any first time buyer making sense.

Haven't heard from you in a while Brit, been sitting there with your fingers crossed hoping for 50% by Christmas no doubt. Didn't happen did it.

Never mind, there's always next year. Bring on the collapse of the entire UK economy. We can all live in the third world... who knows there might be riots, or better yet civil war! Still, at least YOU will get someone's home for for whatever the bank sells it at and throws them out on the street.
