I visited someone in Edinburgh about 30 years ago, and lots of houses on his street were boarded up or burnt out.
This neatly proves anything that I want it to prove.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -
So there's now a thread over on HPC goon central where they are all plying in with derogatory and sexist remarks regarding a successful young academic lady who is studiously working and saving hard for her own dream home. The debate centres on comments such as:
"I would"
"I'd rattle that!!!"
"Yeah. Ok. So would I."

Yeah like that young lady would be seen dead with a rent forever .....0 -

That's the high quality of debate we hear so much about.0 -
All you have done is pointed out a few red bloodied sexist idiots, what has that got to do with housing?
There are thousands of people posting in HPC with even more logging on, here on MSE you only have about half a dozen who post on a daily basis with at least one just making it all up.
Whatever concerns me as usual is landlords saying "what would she see in a renter", shows their attitude towards their tenants. Also gives an inclination how they see themselves when in reality they are just fat little bald men with no friends married to a Thai/Vietnamese mail order bride.0 -

I can't be bothered to go back further. If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0
