:rolleyes:I spent hours reading through all the pages last night, I have just decided to order and the blumin price has gone up again.

I am off to Singapore in a couple of weeks so i am going to hang on just in case I can get them cheaper there.

I was lucky as I ordered the night before the prices went up :j .. but if you ask me, they're still a good price (around £80ish for short Uggs with box and UPS). You'd probably get them in Singapore though too.

I can't wait to get mine :D Still in bloody Cologne though :p

I've just aken the plunge and ordered a pair with outdoor soles from kiwi-sheepskin. I already have a Kiwi pair I bought in Australia and have to say the quality if far far better than that of the UGG Australia ones plus they have replaceable insoles. I've tried UGGs on in shops and they dont come close to the NZ makes so if you're not bothered about the label on the back I'd recommend any of the NZ companies. And personally I find the flat bottoms uncomfortable after wearing the proper soles but thats probably because there's no support for your feet in them. But thats just me

kiwi-sheepskin are great. Personally, I don't know why people buy UGG Australia since it's overpriced, owned by an american company and made in china. Plus they had the nerve to stop any company using the UGG term on the net even though it should never have been trademarked in the first place.

I'm just put out since deckers tried to put those aussie companies out of business (as I'm originally from australia) for the use of a generic term.

It's bad in a way I guess, because many aussies say it is a generic term and thus should not be trademarked. However, the first time I ever saw or learnt about Ugg boots was from the Ugg Australia brand (Deckers). When they first became big a few years back, they were the only Ugg boots in the UK shops (there were no other smaller companies, because the Ugg craze was still small) to my knowledge/memory. However, now there are lots of Ugg style companies circulating the market.. Emus, Kiwi etc.

What Im trying to say is, Deckers have made a worldwide brand and generated a lot of interest in the Ugg style boots. I suppose you could argue, if it wasnt for Deckers, the Ugg style boots wouldnt be as huge as they are now... and Australian companies would not sell as many Ugg style boots.

Deckers use Austrlian sheepskin dont they? So in a way, they are supporting Australian materials.

Dont shoot me down on this, its just a thought :)

I've just ordered some of the short sand ones from the kiwi sheepskin company (to compare them with the Aussie UGG's) and they only cost me £26.90 including Air Mail Delivery :j :D :T

My UGGs have just arrived so thanks to aussie direct. :T

They are incredibly comfy but I'm not impressed with the loose stitching on the boots. If I'd bought them from a shop, I'd take it back and ask for my money back, but I'm not going to waste money on shipping costs. After all, I didn't pay UK shop prices so it's no big deal. I was going to order a second pair if I liked them, but I will also try some from the kiwi sheepskin company now. (Thanks Chameleon).

Has anyone got any from the kiwi sheepskin company yet? Are they as comfy as UGGs?

Do you think you'll get charged for customs though Chamelon? That price is very good.. Im tempted to get some as a xmas pressie (my mom wants some Ugg style boots)

Oh, and Ive just got back from Uni and my mom informs me that an australian guy phoned earlier with my tracking number. Thanks James :) (if that was you)

Im waiting patiently till the end of the week (Im happy now I know theyre on the way!)

The funny thing is they are not like plastic sandles that you can press a button and make a million, you need a sheep to make them no sheep no uggs. and some times there are not enough sheep
are you importing them from Wales ? :D
