I think you will find I am not confusing my US & Aussie dollars, I'm just switching back & forth quickly in my explaination of the costing breakdown.

    I work in finance:D

I just checked banking online & I have been charged 207.86 Aussie dollars, (BUT I WAS QUOTED £185 IN US DOLLARS) which turned out to be £93.07 sterling. For the tall ones (I meant by putting the tall ones in here that I was buying the $150 pair) & the $35 shipping, So $185 as per website Is that right?

That £93.07 works out (ON THEIR ONLINE EXCHANGE RATE LINK)$190.18 (in US DOLLARS AS PER QUOTE). I thought I was paying $185, perhaps the other $5.18 is the charge for exchange?.

See easy when I explain what I meant

Exchange rates change daily and their online currency checker may not report the same exchange rate as the bank dealing with the transaction, which you must be aware of if you work in finance ;)

I also bought the tall boots so it just goes to show how a difference of just 2 weeks can reflect in the price paid in GBP.

I was just surmising over the extra $5.18:D

    I was being picky:D

I did post at the end that it was the exchange rate

Well it's 2 hours until they open, so fingers crossed I'll have my UPS number by the morning.
  • Has anyone got the black upsides? I'd love to know if you like them and how they fit. Are the laces real/adjustable width?

  • Me too. If anyone can pm me a code i'd really appreciate it. I thought that I would have received the code with the boots, but I didn't. How did they send the code out?

The codes are hand written and unique to each customer so I don't think it would be possible to transfer them to someone else.

  • Morning

I recieved my tall chocolate UGGs yesterday after ordering them on the 30/09/07 - they are FAB :j They are perfect and definate genuine! I have some chestnut ones from Bloomingdales and the new ones are nicer then those!!!!! The only difference is that i have had the same size as my others and they are slightly smaller and tighter, i hope they give slightly so i can where over my skinnys.

Thanks to everyone who has posted on this thread! I love my boots :T
  • Huh, was going to order another 2 pairs for friends today; we were already warned they'd go up by $10 to $160, as they were last night when I checked but this morning when I've gone to place the order they've gone up to $169.50.

So they're not paying customs 'for us' after all :o

Not that they were anyway looking at the invoice included......
