The prices for the boots and shipping quoted on the website are in US dollars but obviously this is then converted to AU Dollars when payment is taken.
When I bought mine last month I was charged 208.33 AU dollars, which was 87.28 GBP, so looks like the exchange rate is fluctuating slightly.
I think you will find I am not confusing my US & Aussie dollars, I'm just switching back & forth quickly in my explaination of the costing breakdown.
I work in finance:D
I just checked banking online & I have been charged 207.86 Aussie dollars, (BUT I WAS QUOTED £185 IN US DOLLARS) which turned out to be £93.07 sterling. For the tall ones (I meant by putting the tall ones in here that I was buying the $150 pair) & the $35 shipping, So $185 as per website Is that right?
That £93.07 works out (ON THEIR ONLINE EXCHANGE RATE LINK)$190.18 (in US DOLLARS AS PER QUOTE). I thought I was paying $185, perhaps the other $5.18 is the charge for exchange?.
See easy when I explain what I meant0 -
Was in House of Fraser today and they had some new sheepskin boots in by justsheepskin.com - similar to uggs but the great thing was that they did slippers! Will be putting them on my Xmas pressie list.0

They aren't Chavish in the slighest, I doubt they'd even be able to afford them unless they got the very cheap knock offs
You'd love them if you tried them on0 -
Hi all
I ordered some uggs from Aussie direct on the 30th September. The money has gone out of my account but I haven't had any tracking info or dispatch email?? I went for the cheaper air mail shipping.
Should I email aussie direct to see whats going on?
Thanks

Kel I ordered mine on the 1st October and they still hadn't been despatched as of yesterday because they were waiting for a delivery of stock. I was told mine would be here for Friday so yours will probably be the same.0

I ordered mine on the 29th by airmail and emailed aussiedirect today and they emailed me back with the UPS tracking code so maybe email them tonight if you can.0

Kel, just to second what everyone else is saying...
I ordered mine on the 2nd, and still haven't recieved my UPS number or any indication of despatch. It sounds like all of us who ordered thr end of Sept/start of Oct will experience slight delays... I think they have had wait for a delivery of stock, and hence dealing with back orders.
However, I am starting to feel invisible as they never reply to my emailsBut I know they are very busy (and it is only a small company..)

has anybody ordered the Kids size 6US ? I just wondered what the difference is between the adult size 6US and the Kids size 6US
I got a pair of size 7US for my size 5UK feet but they slip on my heel so perhaps should have gone down a size ( especially after reading this thread and somebody mentioned that the do 'give' after a while )
The postage is cheaper for the kids sizes too
thanks for reading xoopsx
ignore the above - just noticed that they only have US size 1 in stock:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0
