Due to the good exchange rate, US Ebay is quite cheap for genuine Uggs - even if you do have to pay the import duty it works out reasonably cheap as I remember.

I was under the impression that aussie direct were paying our import duty this month but can't see any evidence of this on my package. They have put the value as 20AUD, so does this mean they haven't paid anything?

Is this legal? I'm a bit concerned so I hope I'm wrong. Has anyone got proof that it has been paid? I'm glad that I didn't have to pay it but I don't want to be involved in something fraudulent.

hi, by putting a low value on your package it means that customs is avoided, don't know if its illegal(lots of people do it) but think if the package goes missing the insurance only pays the value stated(i.e. $20), also if customs decide to check the contents and discover the value has been declared lower than it should be YOU are held responsible and could face fines for fraud even though you haven't actually done anything personally, the company gets away with it which is probably why they don't inform us of any of this

Why buy from Australia when there is a fantastic company in Newquay producing UGG type boots for a fraction of the price. Check out www.celtic-sheepskin.co.uk where a pair of new boots will set you back about £85. They also have an offer on at the moment ad kids sheepskin boots are half price so my little fella has a gorgeous pair of chocolate brown for £20 and they are machine washable!!!!:T

im a UK size 5, can anyone tell me my US size? ive found a conversion chart that says 7-8, but which one? 7 or 8? any size 5s out there that can tell me which is best for an UGG boot?

I know many people will think O god animal rights banging on again...but if most people knew the agony that a typical australian sheep went through in it's miserable life, these boots would not seem quite so attractive. I won't go into details here, but have a look at www.savethesheep.com
