Hi: have ordered pair of short uggs from Hartings at start of week - am wondering if anyone can tell me whether there is a way to track my order? have checked site and cannot see any links to take me to any tracking.. am I just being thick?

    Hi
I ordered from Hartings on tuesday. There doesnt seem to be any way to track order. When i checked last night no money had come out of the bank yet.

Update: Checked bank and money has left account this morning. My order came to £120 but £121.31 has left account.I dont know why the difference as my email says £120
  • goshhh... i want them for under a 100 pounds and in grey cardy style -cloggs dont do grey which is the only site on that link which lists them for under100 pounds

I might be wrong, but it seems a few people are getting confused about emu boots so though i would just clarify a couple of things.

Emu do 2 types of boots

Emu Stinger are like Ugg boots as they are made from real sheepskin with thick fur lining with rrp of approx £100 for the lo and £120 for the high, but are currently available from amazon from £50. There is also a deluxe stinger version that has a waterproof/water resistant outer with rrp £160 for lo - £180 for hi, these are currently available on amazon from £80.

Emu Bronte are the cheaper version, they are not made from sheepskin, they have a suede outer and a thinner merino wool lining. rrp is £60-£70 but can be purchased from £30 on amazon.

Both of these styles of Emu boots have better soles than Ugg boots in my opinion. Emu boots soles are rubber whereas Ugg boot soles are made from eva/foam.

I used amazon as an example for prices as they are a very well known reputable retailer and are also currently offering some good discount on emu boots imo.

    Hope that helps
  • Hi, I know you have spoken about this care kit before:

    http://www.shudoo.co.uk/product/ugg-australia/ugg-for-women/ugg-care-kit/

I'm getting a pair of tall black classics for Christmas and was wondering if this was worth investing in, as I want to look after my new boots i get for Christmas! Do they work well/at all with black Uggs?? Just wondering as its a sand coloured stone....
'This care kit is recommended for use only on twin-faced sheepskin boots and slippers within the Classic, Ultra and Ultimate collections.'
I dont know what they mean by twin faced sheepskin, is this what my tall classic blacks are??
Also is this the best priced set there is??
    Thanks. LO x

  • It says on the ASOS site:
Protect with suitable water and stain repellent, hand wash in cold water, clean using sheepskin cleaner with sponge or soft brush, rinse in cold water, reshape by stuffing with paper towel, allow to dry naturally avoiding direct heat and sunlight

You will need the protector no matter what colour.Even black ones can stain i would think

Can anyone tell me what kind of box their Uggs came in please?

I saw a gude on E bay to spotting fakes, and while I know mine are not fakes as they came from Shudoo, they came in a two piece box. The E bay guide said they are now in a flip top box and have been for the past few months.

I ordered the tall black Uggs, UK size 8 for my daughter...maybe they are old stock as the size is not one of the most ordered?

I just got some from Shudoo and some from Nordstrom in the US and they have the same 2 piece box. Don't worry - the ebay guide may well be out of date as they have done flip tops in the past. I got the grey shorts from Nordstrom which were only out this season and the box is exactly the same.

Hi, I protect my black uggs with a spray, but it's not the Ugg spray (I think it's by Woly) but any reputable spray wold for this purpose should be fine - I also have a suede brush but again, not an Ugg one - haven't had any problems -the only thing I don't have is a shampoo, but having protected them from new and resprayed regularly, this hasn't been necessary. So while I agree that you do need to be careful with any colour Uggs, I don't know that you need splash out on the Ugg kit.
