Any waterproof/stain resistant spray made for sheepskin products will be fine. You don't need to be ripped off any further just because Deckers are capitalising on the UGG brand by producing a "special" protection kit in that name“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

i have also ordered the UGG care kit from Cloggs on tues, although i havnt recieved it yet, am i being thick but it says sheepskin cleaner? thats the inside of the boot though? does this mean we cannot use this to clean the outside of the boot ie the suede?? i have a few splahes of something on my chesnut boots & was hoping by ordering this care kit i would be able to get it off, i thought it was water & would just dry off, but its dried into a stain:mad:
tried to read up on the care kit & it just mentions the sheepskin not the suedemummy to 3 monsters!
trying to money save, but spot too many bargains on here!!0 -

That's because there isn't any suede on UGG boots, or at least not if they're genuine ones“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I thought it was only the inside of the boot that was... Mine are geniune from ASOS.
I dont think that its too bad for UGG cleaning set at £19.99 free delivery as some cleaners in shoe shops can cost a lot!Trainee Wakeboarder, Fashion and celebrity devotee!0 -

Hi, the outer would be sheepskin too (I guess that's why it's double faced, both sides sheepskin) - my spray, brush and rubber came to about half the cost of the Ugg kit with no delivery as it was from my local high street (and I suspect items would be avalable from pretty much any local high street, ours is nothing special!!) - making the Ugg kit if not overly expensive, almost double (although not including shampoo if you need it) double the price!THE LONDONERS[/COLOR]0 -

Yes!
Suede = skin from a cow
Sheepskin = skin from a sheep“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Thanks for that, Rotherham lass. I didn't think there was any chance mine could be fake or anything but like to cover all the bases!!0

My daughter has hinted for some Ugg type boots for Christmas. She knows she won't be getting the real deal but on the other hand I don't want to just spend a fiver.
I've looked at two types and wondered if anyone can give an opinion which one is the best. And would suede or sheepskin be better.
The first is Just Sheepskin. As the name suggests - they are made of sheepskin with a wool lining.
the second is Gumbies Ewe Boots which are made of suede with a sheep's wool lining. Has anyone heard of Gumbies Ewe boots.
Really be grateful for some help because I just want to get on and finish my Christmas shopping!!!! Thanks0
